Carnivale is sacred, no one is to be hurt on it. Bad luck, don't you know?

But 'hurt' is a relative term... as CC dresses up ready to head to a noble hold to cause some mischief

"Enjoy yourself, Dearest, but come home in one piece, please." William calls from his recliner, berobed and beslippered.

"You don't want to come along?" She asks "I'm going to replace some vintage wine with table wine from the Olive Garden"

She gets an eyebrow.

"For starters.." She notes the brow "I feel judged now" but she winks

A smirk, and a twinkle in his eye.

"Do you -want- me to come along? I don't want to crowd you."

"If I pick up some party favors I won't throw it in your face, you know that" She assures "Unless you wnat to play with them too?"

He stands, with some labor, up out of his lounger. "Dearest, you know how I enjoy playing with you, in any dimension. Including, or excluding, others. You did not, however, answer my question." he points out.

"I would LOVE for you to come along" She pokes at him, "We can get you a costume and everything"

He looks down at his robe and slippers, the cocktail in his hand. "Am I not costumed?"

"Perhaps as the Big Lebowski" An amused twitch of her lips. Her own outfit is that of a scandalously clad angel

"Mmm...." with a lascivious smile of appreciation "I cannot compete, Dearest."

"You don't come along with me to compete, darling, you come along to worship and amuse" She sits in his lap

He sits again as she approaches, very handily coming up with a lap for her to do so.

"That is absolutely true." he agrees.

"Want to come.... with?"

He laughs, a dark sound. "Yes please."

"Then, let's get your outfit. How about that devil costume you wore one samhain? "

"What's wrong with this one?" He seems serious!

She kens him for bedlam, or weird humor, which ever shines up

Then says "You know what, sure" A smile

There -is- an impish glint to his eye.

And... yes. Oh, his robe is a touch elegant (he does like his comforts), his slippers are fine, and ... yes, that's a white Russian he has in his hand.

"You sneak" She realizes

He smirks.

The sneak smirks.

She kisses him

She gets a kiss right back.

"Mmm , got your soap on a rope somewhere?"

He pulls one from his pocket and lets it dangle.

Oh she loses it, while she might try for a lady like snerk or titter, nope, she breaks out into a full laugh

That makes him GRIN.

From the other pocket he pulls a mini.... tapestry? An oriental or Arab design? About 6"x12".... ??

"It really brings the place together" A smirk

He gives her a bow and puts both items away.

She slips off him and offers her hand "Let's go have fun"

"Oo yes, let's." and he stands, takes her hand, and off they go!

The hold they go to is that of a Ailil lord... his mortal queen is an enchanted beauty who seems to think this is a script reading and is taking her 'rule' off that. So while he is a fool, he at least gets to rule indirectly as long as she sticks to the script.

"Hmmm.... this will never do."

"I didn't realize our host was a 'cheat'" She mmmphs ..she's already stolen some of the good wine and replaced it with the poor stuff

"What do you think? Flip the script?"

"You took the words right out of my mouth," She whispers to him, then adds "So, better words should be put on paper. "

"Mmmm.... I know a speech or two." he offers "But we'll need time and space to get it written."

"I could give a performance to buy you time?"

"They will remember you." he points out with loving caution.

"Mmm I could fuddle a bit... but the sluagh might see through it"

He cocks an eyebrow. "Could we find a secluded boudoir? Assumptions would be made but... " he shrugs.

"I believe we could..." She looks about then nods and pulls him up some stairs
