Performances go well at the Club, CC belts it out of the park and even her off nights are other performers 'darn good'

But sometimes, someone decides they have to take a shot at the star

Emerson is gliding through when he hears one young woman watching say "Oh she's got a nice enough voice but , it's a good thing she's using old classic jazz mostly. She's a bit long in the tooth for anything really...innovative"

It hardly breaks his stride, but it -is- such bad manners. He takes a spot at the bar and motions the server over.

"Yes, sir?" the server says. Fine lad. Shows up on time, always calls in if he thinks there maybe trouble

"Table13. Let me know what you think of them, especially the blonde."

"Yes sir, she's very lovely. I'll see what more I can learn"

"Good man. And see me after the shift." That usually means a tip from the boss, so.....

"Yes sir" Enthusiasm increased

And off the server goes

It takes a bit of time, but the server does return "My appraisal? Body an 8, Face a 7, Intelligence a six, personality a 3"

"Mm. Keep your ears open. What have they ordered, and what's been delivered?"

He relates the orders, and mentions the blonde wanted hers Glutten Free which they can and do accommodate. He mentions a brunette girl really likes the music and seems withdrawn at the blonde's words. The two gents with them are eager to please the blonde

"Mmm. Delivered those yet?"

"Not yet, sir, should be picking them up soon"

"I'll take care of the delivery, thank you. Check in on them again in 10 or 15."

"Yes sir" He nods

IC Stodgepole heads to the kitchen and checks on that order.

Glutten Free special for the blonde, another ordered a 6 oz steak and salad, another ordered an 8 oz steak and baked potato, and another a vegtatarian medly

He takes the (undoctored) order to the table. "Here we are.... vegetarian? Right, and steak and salad? Steak and potato? And the special..."

The blonde sits up primly for her special.

The Brunette woman looks at her Steak and salad with gratitude "Thank you"

"Most welcome. Are we all up to speed on our drinks here?" he asks charmingly.

"I could use a refill on soy latte" The blonde asserts

The others seem to be good. The other server kept folks stocked

"I'll see to it right away." and he bustles off.

The drink isn't hard to get, of course

But as he goes he can hear the blonde "if this were MY club, I would definitely drop the jazz and bring in music from this century"

He sighs So tiresome...

Indeed, 3 on a personality might be generous

The server can take the drink over when he does his check on the table.

And he does, "Any other orders boss?"

"Keep an ear and an eye open. Let me know what happens."

He nods and goes back

Social dynamic s confirms what the boggan already suspected. The Blonde wants all the attention, and mostly gets it... the brunette feels miserable for her dismissal of the music she clearly loves

He considers this, watching Callidora perform.

He beckons the server over.

He returns "Yes sir? I don't have much more except.. " Afrown the "Blonde lady seems to be taking cheap shots at our music"

"Mm." He doesn't seem overly concerned "Could you arrange a word in private with the brunette?"

"I could try ,sir. I'm not sure what excuse I'd use. I don't want her thinking I'm a creep"

"Hm. Could you top up her water?"

"Well, yes sir, but I'm not sure how it will look whispering in her ear whike I do. I will, of course, if you like"

"Wait here...." he goes into the kitchen and after a moment comes out with a water pitcher with just a bit left in it. "Use this for her, then freshen it up and do the others if they need it. Good man." and he bustles away.
