"Most assuredly. Have you been to Firnost yet?"

"We have, interesting mix but far too many elves for my liking"

"Mmm. It ebbs and flows."

"This is really good" CC savors "Is this a new year?"

"The wine? It's from that winery outside of town, recall? We've been there a few times."

"Well, this is an exceptional bouquet" She says then looks to their guest "Firnost IS useful. A lot of information flows through there"

"mmm I'm more worried sluagh there will get MY information, but Murmur seems to be more fond of it" Eryssa ponders

"Nothing wrong with having many sources." Emerson points out.

"So Murmur says. I won't hold her back" A thought "Did you mention another sluagh she could talk to?"

"Yeeeesss...." Emerson glances at CC.

"She's been very busy of late, i fear" CC says "But yes. we know someone. She's a sweet thing, sometimes I fear a bit too genteel, but trust me, resourceful, intelligent and a font of knowledge if you show her respect"

"We will contact her." he promises.

"I appreciate it" A nod "And forgive me, the wine is lovely but i should get back home"

"Of course. May I call you a cab?"

"Well, i prefer to answer to my name" Eryssa replies

He chuckles.

"I TOLD you he'd ask" a smile from CC

"You were right. He's a gent" Eyrssa rises "I would love a cab, thank you, Emerson"

He nods and goes to do so.

Soon the cab pulls up, and their guest gives each of them a kiss and departs

CC watches her go "Mmm sly one that"

"Oh? How so?"

"Well, I could be misreading, but she seems to be asking us for information on which sidhe are the biggest pain the asses... and playing up her reliance on us so we know she won't double cross us"

An eyebrow as they return to the Club "You think she has designs on those poor elves?"

"The ones at Firnost? Perhaps, but more likely she'll want ones who are effective and SUCCESSFUL tyrants. The Firnost crew often has the dregs of the nobles, not their cream"

"Hm. An interesting observation, Dearest. I will think on it. I have old lists, of course, but...."

"Be careful, she's fishing, if you worry she'll try to draw us further into supporting her to the point we can't do without- not saying I am, then we can always make sure she gets such info without knowing it's us that's a source"

"An excellent point. And, we must call Kitten."

"yes , overdue there" A nod "I do hope she's doing well. She's always a treat to have over"

"Give her a try" She says "Worse she can do is not answer"

Her William goes to the phone and dials.

"...Hello?" On the phone, she is soft spoken - not a whisper.

"Miss Zara, it is Emerson. I hope I find you well?"

"Well enough, thank you."

"I am most pleased to hear it. And your family and all?" pleasantly.

"My sister is to be sa-... to have her bat mitzvah soon." Oh, she sounds smug.

"Oh, you must let us send something!" he crows.

"Well, it shall be at the Farm."

"I will let Miss CC know, and hope to be there for the event." he promises.

CC makes a gesture to Emerson to remind him of Murmur while he's on with kitten

"Mama is making cake."

"Then you could not keep me away with wild horses!"

"I might have met an relation of yours. Do you have time to meet her?"

"Aye?"

"We're at the Club, and could provide an introduction and transportation."
