Eyrisa, formerly Daphne, is talking to CC in the Club's off hours, the two satyress women appear to be enjoying the conversation whatever it's about

The Club may have off-hours, and even be dark once a week, but there is always work to do and so Emerson is doing it.

"So I left the sidhe lord hand cuffed to the bed and walked away" Eyrssa smirks

CC chuckles

"Careful dear, don't let your dislike out too openly." the senior satyress advises "But yes, that would be hilarious"

As long as he's around, he brings a cold
bottle of chardonay and two glasses over. Just in case.

"Oh baby your'e the best" CC says "Join us. We're just chatting. I introduced Eyrssa to the local traggo"

"Yes, please, Emerson" The younger grump requests

He gets a third glass, and pours for everyone. "Here we are. I take it the intr
'oduction went well?"

"I'd forgotten how wonderful a collection of satyrs can be" Eyrssa says to him "It... well, don't get me wrong, my motley is wonderful, but sometimes one wants those who share the same dream."

"She made a good impression" CC nods

"And how foresighted of you to have a tragos for her to meet, Dearest!" he praises.

THAT gets him a look from CC, but then she airily says "Well, you know what I always say, Darling, traggos are just healthy for satyrs"

"So very true." he sips his wine with a smug smile; he -liked- getting that look from her.

Oh it is a delight to egg her just a bit.

"Well it certainly did ME wonders, thank you"

"Glad to hear it. Might serve to give you early roots in the area. Networking, and all." of course he'd see it that way.

"He's such a boggan" CC explains to her

"But a master at selecting liquors" Eryssa says

"Ladies, please. My modesty will suffer." he says.

"Modesty" CC beams "He's inwardly pleased with himself but he hides it well"

Eryssa chuckles

He smirks at them and lifts his glass in salute.

"I trust the rest of the motley is settling in well? Anything we can help with?" he offers Eryssa.

"Oh they're all a bit scattered, None worse than our pooka. I swear she was always hard to guide, she's where the phrase herding kittens came from"

He chuckles.

"I hope this world hasn't been too much of a shock?"

"I delight in it" Eryssa tells them, "No More Kings, how is it mortals have progressed while changelings are trapped? "

"Well, there -are- kings but not in the United States." he corrects "And the answer to your question is, Sidhe dominance."

"Yes,, their return" She huffs

CC reminds "We told you about that at the traggo meet, dear"

Emerson grumbles slightly.

"Yes, they had almost every advantage but numbers" Eyrssa mmms

"And the element of surprise." He grumbles.

"Treachery helped yes," CC sighs

"Yes, but Ieamt simply that few of the time dreamed the Sidhe would return." He points out.

"YEs, I spent most of my time in an Urn"

"Sorry, my Dear, if I was insensitive."

"No no more liek it's frustrating only to be foiled of a successful smuggling, but that we failed to matter at all" Eryssa says "I think the others consdier it my failure which as leader I suppose it was"

"You could have been destroyed utterly" CC reminds. "many souls were"

Emerson nods agreement gravely. "You -did- keep your people safe."

"I hope to contunue to do so. Now how are you two doing? CC hinted at a prodigal problem now settled?"

"Yes, quite neatly. All ... spic and span again." with a smile

"He even used bleach" CC nods

"When necessary."

"Of course" Eryssa ssays "Luckily we have a maid. So I am somewhat spoiled. May I thank you again for giving us such a cushy start?"

"Oh, think nohting of it! We suspected you might benefit from a bit of a cushion, coming from where you did."

"I feel like i should be paying a fee?" She arches a brow
