And... the flashlight?

The flashlight feels of HIS dreams, which is odd, as he is no boy scout. yet he is sure he WISHED this into being. He can click it on if he wishes

He does, carefully and shining it -away- from him.

It's a good thing he points it away, it doesn't blow up anything or even hurt it, but the light is bright. VERY Bright, and focused. Emerson is rather 'bright' himself, and realizes the light is actual SUN Light

Concentrated and direct.

Oh, he can see uses for that! He goes to the door and sticks his head out. "Miss CC?" he calls.

"Yes, Darling?" A voice merry

"Could you find your way here? There's something I'd value your opinion on."

A moment and she looks about "Okay, this hold is now as big or bigger than our house"

She says "Is this a vault? We a vault? Oy G Vault"

"Steady, Dearest." he responds dryly. "What do you make of that?" he indicates the veil.

She looks at it, then grins "Hot damned it worked."

'What worked?"

"Well, the damned hold is blazing, we had a dream dance times five, and I kept thinking 'the nobles will find us' well, I begged the fire for help and... this I SUSPECT, Casts a Veil oer the hold to keep anyone with a title, thoug not sure it got knights, from seeing the place. "

"In short darling, our hold won't be 'noticed' so easily"

"Not by the mukkity mucks"

"Brilliant thinking, Dearest!"

"It's only brilliant if it works" She admits "That's why I looked so dizzy for a bit. Iwas trying to direct the glamour. Glad it worked" She hugs him then "What's with the flash light?"

"And.." She looks about "My goodness... this hold is nicer than ever"

"The flashlight? Mm. I suspect it's an answer to my most vexing problem at the moment." he looks around as well "You have done marvelously well, Dearest."

She shrugs off the flashlight, then says "I don't think it was just me, dear. You flavored some of it too. " A thought 'I wonder if our new guests unknowingly planted some things in. THey do seem a bit material" Considdering her own nature that's a bit shallow to say. SHe does love luxuries too

"They might be excused for that, spending so long in that urn with nothing to call their own."

"Does sound miserable. Still not sure it's wise of them to keep it but, they're insisting" Still her eyes sparkle

"I'd like another look at it; we were both so awash in what was happening, I don't recall if it still has power."

"This way" She leads him And shows it

Danger of tripping as a cat, bengal-spotted, twines between both sets of legs.

Wide green eyes watching them both.

"Ah, there you are; Daphne was looking for you. I can run the two of you to the house whenever you're ready." he says blandly to the cat.

"What have you been up to?" CC says

"Murp."

A stretch, paws up on CC's leg, purring.

CC picks her up "Scratch me and I think I'll be cross"

Limp and pliable in her arms, a melty cat, all puurs and soft fur. She would never!

"You my dear girl, have so much potential. ANd you're NOT the girl I call Kitten. How odd is that?"

she does give light pets as they resume their walk

And so they get a little tour of the new features as they return to where they last saw Daphne.

They find a room that's a kind of spa and bath, with a lot of plant life in it. A new bed chamber, a few other things and yes, they find Daphne

Daphne looks over "Carola is ready to go home I guess"

"It would seem so."

"Here you go" CC says "SHe's hasn't used claws... so far"

And she hands the pooka over to the other satyr. Daphne snorts "Gee, thanks"

"Miss CC, will you join us for the car ride?"

"I would understand if you wanted to stay and explore, though."

"Oh happy to" CC says "I'll look around here later"

He nods, and walks all the ladies out to the car, and from there takes them to the House.

Back at the club, CC and Emerson return, security all over her

She sighs

"Soon, Dearest." he's kept the flashlight with him.
