After a fun 'moment' the trio come out, showered and feeling pretty nice.

And a certain Cat pooka maybe exploring the freehold side of things

Emerson.... surely Daphne can call him Emerson by now... might have a slight limp, but seems chipper enough.

Daphne stretches, "This a pretty healthy body, thank you both for testing it"

"if anything," CC admits "All that magic seems to have tweaked it, a bit"

Oh, yes. A very curious kitty - actually a cat, at the moment, an inky black one that melds into the shadows - is peeking around. Possibly where she oughtn't.

"Yes," A look "She'd envy the stamina I have now, but more than that, the hair is better"

Emerson bustles about, getting beverages for the ladies. "When you and Corala are ready, I'll be happy to run you to the house. No rush, though."

Carola finds enters one room a new one that seemed to spring into being when she arrived. A bath house of some sort, while the steaming waters and pools here might not interest her, the lush vegatation that thrives under a chimerical nightsky embeded on the seeling might. It's kind of a jungle motiff

Oh ho! Her black coat shifts, taking on the markings of a jungle cat, better for hiding in dappled sunlight through lush foliage. She stalks, peering into pools for fish, and looking, seeking... for nothing in specific, or for whatever she may find.

"Your hold is nice" Daphne looks about

"Yes" CC comments and gives Emerson a knowing look. Things HAVE changed thanks to the Urn's release

"As for going, well, we have to find my host's former daughter I suppose" Daphne takes the drink and calls out "Carola?"

Carola however is wandering the 'jungle' , finding no fish, she does find chimerical fireflies, which are most tempting and act as a source of romantic inspiration for most.

Callidora gets a smirk back.

Romantic? Not hardly... right now, she pounces!

Chasing the fireflies is intriguing, and she does not attend to the call.

Emerson is sure that the hidden hold might not be so hidden, yet, he does feel a pull to a certain room , a new one.

"Mmm.... Callidora, Daphne, do you mind if I do a little exploring before we leave?"

"Calora is ignoring us, so go ahead" Daphne mms

"We'll do lady talk while you search" CC nods

Her butt waggles, tail waving for balance, and she leaps easily over one of the pools, landing gracefully on the far side to explore further.

As she leaps over the pool in cat form, she sees the reflection below shows her pooka form! Two legs!

He takes and kisses a hand from each of them, then follows his nose to.... a new room?

Good lord, while it's no Farmhold, Emerson can tell they've gained rooms, and power. There's some water sounds from one room, but that's not what's pulling him. He comes to one door, yes, this is the one, and he blinks. This is likee a bank vault door. Huge, metalic but with stylish etchings, and one of those wheel things you turn

Curious! She peeks over the pool again. "Mrrrp?" A paw dips to tap at the surface, at her two-legger reflection.

Somehow, this pool has revealed her true form. It's odd, seeing a 'reflected hand witth claws' touching her paw in return. Wet still though and it ripples.

Green eyes squint a bit, and she ceases tapping the water to let the picture settle from the ripples. Alone, she slides back into human form, and looks again. As she watches, she changes once more, her skin turning blue, her height lengthening, taking inspiration from that odd Chimera she had seen in the other room. When Carola settles into the form of 'Kerri', does the water still show a pooka?

It does! The reflection still shows her 'true form' almost unheard of, Chicanery can be pierced, but physical disguisees like metamorphisis? This pool is clearly a snitch!

She hisses at it, annoyed, and returns to her normal form. "Rude!"

SO rude!

She can at least hide among the plants, the reflections can't betray what they can't see.

She can, and does... and promptly sinks into a doze again. It's comfortable here.

More dreams... odd ones of a girl now gone who was wasting her life being what opthers insisted she be, and ancient ones of a pooka hiding from the eyes of a mangicient sidhe noble who had called a hunt for stolen property

Meanwhile, the boggan examines the safe door carefully and with his eyes only before touching it.

No electrical shock or anything. But Callidora's voice purrs "What should I leave on?" the vault speaks with her voice. A kind of riddle or pass phrase?

His lips quirk in a smile "Your hat."

"ooo" the vault sounds pleased. "Come on in"

And he tries the handle.

And it opens.

THe Vault is a treasury, in it's way. Some of the items here he recognizes, objects that belong to him and CC now in a more secure location. Other things appear new.

TWo things get his attention. One is a pedestal, the magic comes not from the pedestal, but a dark hued veil over some object. It's definitely the veil that has the msot magic.

The other item is a vintage boy scout Flashlight? Or so it appears

New rooms come with new treasures? He approaches the veil and again examines with his eyes and Kenning before he touches it.

Chicnary, but he's not the target. The shape, something round and hollow under it

A crown. There's a crown undder the veil

"Mmm..." perhaps best to leave -that- until Callidora has seen it?
