Angela sighs "once we were near gods, or at least legends, now thanks to noble bungling it up, we're forced to hide in mortal shells just to survive. Fear not, Mister Stodgepole, we 'want' to survive"

"You are, all of you, proven survivors." he agrees "Enjoy your eplorations." and he'll return to the Club after making his manners.

Brandy is the warmest to him, she has some training in ettiquete he thinks and it buys him time to get an ideaa how to slip in, of course they have a standing invitation

He soon returns to the club. Which has closed up save for security

"No that would be the cat, I imagine. Who is enjoying her first white russian."

"Well, I was wondering if WE wanted to Satisfy Daphne" A wink , and she says "She's a leader, or wants to be. That can be a challenge or a perk"

A soft laugh. "Dearest, the two of you will outpace and exhaust me but I will certainly do my best."

"As for her aspirations, I believe it can be both; a challenging perk. She will need to eduate herself before she is ready to handle more than her currect handful. And not all of them agree that she is the best choice to lead them."

"Then to my chamber. Both of us will delight and thrill you" She nibbles at his ear and whispers "And for your extra amusement? We're making French Maid Kerri Chimera 'watch'"

A very wide eye. "Oh.... Dearest." awed.

"This way" and off she leads him.

"I AM glad I get to thank you both" A voice purs. And the door closes. Nearby, French Maid Kerri Chimera just looks SO honored to be here and is happy to help remove a coat, but CC assures her that's HER Job...
