He pauses, looks at her. "I love you, Callidora Carollos." and he takes her hand, leans in, and kisses her.

She holds his hands back and returns the kiss sweetly

Then he feeds her an olive from the snack board.

She makes a snapping motion, then winks

"So." he seats himself again and sips his drink "What should we take to the Farmhold?"

"Classy bottle of wine?"

"Yes, we can do that, absolutely."

"And, something for the new Hearth" She ponders "Something that will be hers"

"Oh, excellent... have they settled on who that will be?"

"Oh, Kourtney. She's young for the job. But she's the best troll they have available"

"Mm." he nods "I don't know the girl that well. What would suit her?"

"I think something for cooking that isn't going to feel like it should belong to Hearth Agnes'

"Do they plan to burn all of Agnes's utensils on the boat with her?" dryly.

A snerk "No, it passes to Kourtney. i just thought she'd appreciate something that didn't feel like it belonged to her predecessor, you disagree?"

"I think she will be well supplied by her predecessor, and other guests, and will have control to purchase what she needs aside from that." with a twinkle in his eye.

"I do -have- an idea...."

"Let's get her a spa day. A spa weekend! Gift certificates; no expiration date, but non-refundable."

"Oh my. Mmm" She ponders "Probably never been spoiled like that"

"And, if I read my DeBukes right, she won't indulge herself."

"probably not"

"But if we gift it to her, she'll need to use it or face the guilt of -waste-!" delighted.

"Oh you do love trolling trolls" A laugh

He chortles.

"Fine. Wine for the DeBukes, spa for the new Hearth, but I want to get them something kitcheny anyway... or , mm poor girl will handle finanes too. how about a lap top to keep her recipies and records on? the elders will twitch'

"-And- it must be a top of the line model." he insists "And the spa must be top of the line, a -full- day of pampering and bliss."

"Oh, let's do it" She smiles "Top of the line it is"

"Done, then." With a smile and a toast.

"I love you, as I said, but you do have petty pleasures' A sip "Probably why we're such a match"

"Allow me to assure you, your pleasures are -FAR- from petty. They are fulsome, sinful, and delectable."

"Flatterer!"

"You knew what I was when you picked me up." he smirks.

"Don't regret it for a moment"

"More the fool you." he points out, and eats a carrot.

"Fool for love" A smile

"Aren't we both?" with a smile.

"Two jokers in this deck" She agrees "Now, " She munches her own carrot "I've been good. Shall we 'netflix and chill' or ... other things?"

"I am entirely at your disposal." he assures her "In any capacity you would have me serve."

"Let's start on the sofa and.. work our way from there" she puts in a movie about the overthrow of authority... that always seems to get his motor running

He purrs, and goes to her arms; the nice thing about crudite is, it can sit out overnight if needed.
