He moves around, preparing a small meal. Well, small but also for a troll. Giving them time to chat. Callidora can work miracles in her silences and in the language her body speaks, as he well knows.

A bit later, he hears confirmation of this, "Emerson, you want to get back to us before this wicked woman ends up having me sell the farm to her?" A half joking tone

"Oh, just coming." He puts finishing touches on a tray (a second tray is standing by) and brings it out. "Just an amuse bouch."

"Funny Bouch, sound tasty" He says deadpan "Your lady here got me to agree to a few more things besides the ward" He blushes a bit, odd in an older troll

"Dearest....." he tutts as he serves "Back in a moment...." and he goes to get the second tray.

Which, you know, might take him a moment....

It does. He hears "No, absolutely not. Callidora, that has nothing to do with security"

"Please? You know that's something you'd never be allowed to try on the farm"

"I'm sorry, no," A humph "It's tawdry"

"Prude"

"I AM a troll, CC" a reminder

"How about just for a room?" A smile " Small one?"

"CC!"

Oh interesting talk in there

He works quietly, just in case there's any more to hear?

"FINE, but if you tell anyone I'll say you'

've gone bedlam, agreed?"

"I won't tell anyone but Emmerson and he won't tell"

"He'll gossip"

"He's SELECTIVE" She says

"mmmph!" What that means exactly is hard to say but there was a tone of grumpy yielding

A rattle of crockery, and he comes back with the second tray. "A little more?" Both trays have ALL kinds of tidbits and treats on them. "We have some Farmhold produce here...."

"Please just have a seat" Emmit grumbles "And protect me from CC. I thought I'd be negotating with you, Emmerson, but here I am being steam rolled"

"Oh fuss fuss" CC 's eyes dance with pleasure then look over at Emerson "We may be able to get a room with a few touches in addition to the wards"

He sets the tray down and starts serving while saying "Emmitt, I mean this with all respect... if Callidora rolls over the top of you, there will be no question in your mind that she has done so, and you will blush more than just lightly." his eye twinkles wickedly.

The troll TRIES to hurrumph, but then just shakes his head and gives a soft laugh "You two are a dangerous pair. I've always known it. Your lady here has suggested a way to imprint a gift of pan in a room, a way to keep the nosy who do stick around.. .occupied"

"....Ooo.... very nice, Dearest. And Emmitt? You don't mind intertwining your talents with Callidora to make this happen?"

"I did, didn't seem to help" he grumbles "But yes I'll do it"

"You'll need the oils, then, Dearest?" he asks casually as he finishes serving and takes his seat.

"Oils???" The Troll blinks

"Mm?" politely.

"I think the oils will be fine" she says

He nods. "Any particular scents you prefer, Emmitt? You seem a leather and horse-sweat man to me but impressions can be decieving."

"WHAT OILS? " The man asks

"Well, the usual Emmitt." Emerson blinks "Coconut and Almond for a blend. Scented to preference."

"This better not be anything dirty" he says

CC 's eyes widen "Why, Mountain, what kind of dirty thing are YOU thinking of?"

Emmit does the classic troll buries his head in the palm of his hand

"I can promise you a shower for cleanliness." Emerson offers helpfully.

"Okay. The food is good. No oils" he simply says.

"Oh Emmit , we thought you were the fun one" CC says, disappointment in her voice. She still won't mention what the oil is or isn't for

Emerson can't stand it. He starts to chuckle.

CC loses it and gives a soft laugh

And even the troll smiles, but he does give a digifnied hurmph "now.. if i may get back on track, when are you folks hoping this is done?"

Emerson waves to CC to answer.

"Well, how about _____" she names a time "is that good for you?"

"Should be, should be" he nods

"We'll meet at the Club?"

A nod "Sounds good"

"Well, then.... another drink? Morsel?"
