The sidhe woman is gaping at the 'Full' hold, "I had no idea you had so many" She stares at the pot bellied Redcap burping, and the satyr grump scratchging himself with distaste. Of course, neither are real, but the illusion appears to be working

CC sighs "Yes, sad really. I THINK We can squeeze you in against the redcap. He was fed recently..."

"We are not as well resourced as some other holdings, but happy to share the best we have." the boggan says humbly, with downcast eyes. The tray he offers is... at best, poor indeed.

"No .. I think I'll try this .. Firnost place" She had not been impressed by what she heard of that holding, but it has to be better than ..THIS... "They don't really duel with cold iron anymore, do they?"

"No no," CC says "Not for years that I've heard of"

"Well, then..." The sidhe woman throws her stole about her neck, "I should leave this..quaint hold to those who need it more than I" and she leaves

William sets the tray down with some disgust. "I wish we could wipe her memory of this place."

"Oh, you know even better than I that gossip of how busy we are works in our favor now that the cat is out of the bag. " SHe smiles as the effigies fade as well as other illusions "Emmit does good work"

"He does." William agrees.

"We do have some geniune folks in trouble that come through"

"Are you expecting someone?"

"No, but we have a real..." SHe stops, and leads him quietly around a corner

There, he sees a woe bogone boggan wilder, clearly on rough times. Homeless

"And who is this, then?" jovially; his avuncular personna.

"This is Lorri... " she answers in a whisper, the girl it seems sleeps "Honey, is it possible for a boggan to burn herself out helping?"

"It.... is....." slowly as he looks her over, then kenns her "If so, usually banality-related."

"Well, to hear her tell it, she assisted some charity and .. to quote her 'I just couldn't help them all'" A frown

There's some banality there... not Dauntain level thank goodness, but she appears to have come to the hold just in time. Juding by her lack of material goods it's possible she gave everything away

"Where did she come from? How did she find us?"

"Apparently she has one of those compas treasures that shows you the nearest hold. She showed it to me. Handy if annoying item. It's a good thing she had it"

"And she's lived in KC for awhile now"

"Or so she claims"

"Hmph. As if anyone living here hasn't heard of, and know the location of, Firnost."

"It does seem suspicious. The place is notoriously famous or infamous" She says "But I didn't have the heart to tell her no"

He tsks quietly at her.

"Well. I suppose we let her rest, feed her for three days, and move on. Perhaps we'd do best if she saw how crowded it is?"

"The illusion is set to work on nobles currently" She says "And those that work knowingly for nobles"

"Well?" an eyebrow.

"Well, she didn't see the crowd" She answers

"Hmph." he seems almost disappointed "Well. I suppose three days won't be so bad."

"Oh honey, were you hoping she was a spy?" Wryly

"Of course not." mildly "After all, I've worn summer garb before." quietly, for her alone.

"Ah," She pulls him along "How are you feeling baby? The season coming on?"

"Hmmph."

"Nothing I haven't dealt with before, Dearest."

"Do I need to boss you around imperiously? " She offers kindly "Not sure I can be as tyranical as I was when we were Naked Mole Rats but I can try""

"Not in front of the visitor, Dearest." dryly.

"Oh fine." She takes his hand "What shall we have for dinner?"

"What are you in the mood for? And, we should leave something here for her, hm?"

"We should. As for mood I'm flexible. Leaning Sea food but not a must"

"We are known at all the good seafood places in Kansas City.... which, in Kansas City, is a must. That said, if you're in the mood for fresh-water, river catches....?"

"I'd be game"

"Crayfish etouffee? There's that place on the bluff...."

"Ooh haven't been there in awhile. Yes, that sounds lovely"

"I will put together a tray for her then, while you prepare?"

"Oh you're sweet" She kisses him on the cheek, and sashays out

He follows, enjoying the view, to get a tray put together.

Bread, cheese, a bit of fruit, some slices of ham that will keep at room temp for a while.... some water and juice. He carries it all back in.

The wilder looks up "Do.. do you need help?" She twitches, as if she can't stop herself from asking

"Mm... Sleeping Beauty wakes. Hello, my dear. I'm Stodgepole. And no, thank you." a genial smile "Welcome to our little spot."
