While not being in 'boggan form' hurts him a bit, boggans gossip first to other boggans, it's not too bad a loss, though, and he does overhear some news...

the big news? The Namer died...., a Leanhaun has been arrested and exposed! A satyress paramour on the run! The Duke and Duchess caught off guard and closing the area up as fast as they can but likely too late now...

Well, it would not do to be caught up as well. Time to make an exit.... he'll watch out for Morgan as he goes; she needs to slip away as well.

And a female boggan comes in coughing with dust coating her, "Oh it's a mess, part of the hold collapsed... you.. you have to see it for yourselves. There's a reward out for that ginger girl"

Gasps, and some get this new boggan a drink others as her more details but she just shakes her head

Jack frowns as if properly worried, and with a checkmark next to that detail, he departs. With Morgan.

Indeed, it turns out the dusty boggan goes to the bathroom to freshen up

and Morgan steps out to join Jack "how was my perforamance?" She asks

They have to meet Raze

"Let's go." he says, leading her to the meeting "I am very proud of you, and most impressed. Stirling work."

"Thank you..." She says and soon they join Raze. He's excited "I got the book"

(Ah, forgot to post.. yes. They are in an agreed upon warehouse currently unused)

"Good work. Show me."

Raze nods and pulls out the book, and opens it "See, notes enough to get me started on naming"

((Assuming 'Jack' has been briefed that Raze covets the Naming Art? Otherwise 'Jack' wouldn't know.....))

"Naming?" Morgan sniffs, "You sure the book isn't flawed? Bigg shot namer man scewed up"

"And his legacy will be a redcap who takes his notes and makes them right. A redcap who, I would imagine, would not disdain to share his knowledge, when he has it, with other commoners. Taking -that- Art away from the Fae that control it now.... it would free many other Fae to live their own lives authentically."

"I think you have done well, Raze."

"Thanks... and I hope to do better. I'm tired of we commoners being leashed away from OUR Magic"

A wolfish smile; this troll is clean-shaven and the expression is clear. "I couldn't have said it better myself."

Morgan seems almost primed by her revenge

glamour dances about her, despite the factt causinng mortal deah to a kithain often brings bannality's sting "We really did it. Very nice."

Here he sees it...Brenda has had her revenge, she has ended the threat of the Namer she believes damned her son through arrogance and incompetence. It is possible she will go back to her old life... content.

But with the right nudge, the push, Morgan might decide it's not enough to let just one threat be ended.

He observes this.... and sighs internally. Damn me for a love-struck fool....

"Now it is time to part. Our victory will be complete when we walk away with our prizes and without a mark. And we should never see each other's faces again." he puts just an ounce of command in the statements.

She bites her lip, then nods "Thank you"

"Anytime" Raze grins touching the book

"You can be proud of what you've done here. You've both showed courage, tenacity, innovation, and you have protected others who would have suffered without your effort." he says in final benediction "Walk away now, back to your lives and on to your next adventures, all the stronger for this one." he nods, gives Morgan a lingering look, and waits.

Morgan eyes him back, a bit hungry. It would be so easy for her to stay like this, serving a cause, binding herself slavishly and ironicaly to revolution, and her temptation is tangible

Instead she rises "Yes, good advice. Laterr boy" And she moves out, a bit of a stride

Raze watches her go, "Hate to see her go but you love to watch her leave..." He shrugs "me I'm headin out anyway. Too much chance of getting uncovered. "

The troll nods. "Go."

"Well, I meannn out of tthis area." He whispers "The old man said he'd hook me up with other folks?"

"Don't know anything about that."

"Mmph gotcha. I'd say see you around, but you never know" And Raze departs

And then Jack (after waiting and watching for those who might be watching him....) departs. He takes a circuitous route back to KC.

And, if he can have the cantrip drop on the way there (perhaps by removing the watch?) he will do so.

And so, after a long about roundy way.. A boggan comes home

And nearly gets tackled at the door

"Hey lover, how was the convention" CC smiles

He's a bit on edge, but realizes it's CC.

She gets a very VERY thorough kiss.

"mmm" She gets kissed, thoroughly... and lead into the house, door closing behind them

"An absolute success." he tells her when they come up for air.

"She's a natural, Callidora. And the noble hold is in pandamonium, courtiers on the run, and their Namer is dead. No one knows who to look for."
