"So, you're the ...guide?" Brenda raises a brow

"You don't have a problem with that."

"Do you?"

She looks him over, "Not if you know what you're doing"

"You have questions? Ask 'em now."

"Don't know if we have time," She says "Do you have a plan? My best art is metamophsis but I'm working on wayfare... can you incorporate those and me into the plan? What do you think is our top objective?"

The troll gives her a long look, then nods. He leads her into the warehouse; he brought her here after picking her up. Neutral ground. Ish.

"I have a plan. You will be someone else for the time you are.... in operation. You tell me; what do you want to do?"

The oddly familiar troll waits for her response.

She ponders "I want to make sure that namer NEVER screws up someone else's son again"

"Sons, or children?" a sharp eye. Or two.

"FIne, daughters, sons.. I want this bastard dealt with, happy?" She flares a bit

"You want me happy? Is that what you want? WHAT DO YOU WANT, BRENDA???"

A SNAP OF FURY "I WANT THE FUCKER DEAD! "

Then she looks alarmed at what she said and covers her mouth, it's not that she said it, its' that it was so true

The troll (?) smiles. "Do you?"

He props his hand up, pinkie-swear pose.

"Take it and say the truth."

"Yes..." she admits "I can't get my son back safe, sane and sound... so I want the guy who screwed him up dead..."

She eyes the pinkyswear pose "Are you mocking me?"

"No."

"FIne," she offers her pinky "I want him dead"

"I do too."

He admits this in the pinkie swear. "And I'll help you."

"THank you" She looks up at him, strong and.. "I've been told this..would be easier unseelie. Is that true?"

"Could be. Your choice. How bad do you want it?"

"I want to succeed. It's just.. my unseelie side is... eager to please.. it's drawn to power. Kyle and I..I thought he was the one who would..direct me... but they drew him back summer side and.. then me too and there was just shame and .. let's just say I never wanted to go back before now. But if it'll help us win, then.. passion before duty and all that"

"Your call, Brenda. I will help you however you let me."

A tilt of her head "What angle are you playing at?" She's not dim, just borderline desperate "I'm just curious. I feel like.. i'm being given rope to hang myself with"

The troll sits up, elbows in. "Ok. You be in touch when you're ready. I have my reasons and I think you know I've said enough to commit. You let me know when you're ready." No judgement. He'll wait.

"ASAP.." She says simply, "How do we get to him? How do we take him out?"

Jack tells her; a simple addition and retreat. Some props set in place. A distraction.

A nod "fine... and am I to be the distraction or the.. adder?"

A smirk. "Both?"

"You tell me."

"I want to be effective. I can act pretty well, my main passion is poetry though I doubt that helps here. However I can look like just about any woman, that tends to draw a man's eye"

This troll gives her a lazy smile. "Well then. I can point out a few ladies, maybe give you some background. There's a lady like you who he's ... close to."

"Go on" She asks

"I can provide you a way to make sure he doesn't perform any other.... ceremonies like that."

"Oh god.. I know what your'e talking about. Poison. I've read enough Poe"

A shrug. "Your words. Not mine."

A tilt of her head, her horns move "Notice you're not getting your own hands dirty" a bit of a scoff "You know, with a bit of effort I could make YOU look like the consort in question"

"You could. But I couldn't act it. You want my hands dirty.... they're dirty where it counts."

"If you're not that dirty.... you can move on."

Brenda scowls "Fine. I...just worry I'll choke when it's time."

"You won't." Jack says flatly but surely. "I won't let you. Brenda."

She seems reassured by that, drawing confidence from his confidence "Thank you"

"Fine," A shake of her hair, "Let's get dirty"

"In a minute." he draws her close... just that for the moment. Letting her decide.

She presses against him, hands feeling his chest and she looks up, tempted "oh god.. if only Kyle had stepped up to see..."
