"Blueish green? I hope not to be spotted at all around court. I'm there to provide Brenda a backbone, not do the job myself."

"mm so very plain, very 'typical'... stock troll number 3 so to speak ?"

"Just so."

"mm going to have enough charisma to wow Brenda?"

"You know I can be firm." mildly "I like to think I have a certain amount of charm."

"Dearest, I ask this next out of my affection for you; are there any approaches with Brenda you would prefer I avoid?"

That gets him a kiss, "mm you mean seduction?"

"Not to stereotype, but......"

"Yes, satyrs are lusty lasses. and lads" A thought "You know I don't equate sex with love. "

"I know, Dearest. Still, best to understand your comfort level clearly, yes?"

"Not in my bed" She answers, "And... don't cook with her" She almost blushes at that

"Oh....." he smiles, and pulls her in for a kiss. "Take-out meals, the entire time. If I can even eat at all." he promises.

"No, not our bed. We'll operate out of a motel in St. Louis."

She returns the kiss, then nods "I'm working on Kyle."

A mock put-upon sigh "Oh dear. I can't hope to impress following a troll......"

"Please," She scoffs, "He can't possibly match the raw power and size of your pastries"

He laughs aloud.

"I will take what comfort I can in that!"

"And most men don't..read me like you do." She confides "You know what i like even before I realize it's what I wanted. Something to be said for a man who knows every button , and you do press mine"

A low hum, almost a purr, and she gets another kiss. "Flatterer." fondly.

"Yes, but it's truth too, I try the truth now and then, for novelty" She finishes the spell.. and he stands, a blue green troll, average size for his kith, younger but not too young

William checks the mirror.

Mmm servicable, servicable

He nods. "Do you think Brenda will accept this look?"

He turns back to her.

"mm.. " She looks him over, "not sure , being more handsome would help... but too handsome makes it hard for you to blend. Let me see... maybe a tatoo for a bad boy angle? Or.." She laughs at something

"I am clay, in the master potter's hands." he volunteers.

"Oh no no.. you'll fuss.. it's just. ." She snickers "I ccould... make you like you were a King, or at least.. related to them"

His eyes.... EYES.... light up. "I have no objection."

"Not too much, enough to make her wonder, she's met the kings. She's not fond of them, but a black sheep among their family? That might intrigue"

"Oh, delightful, Dearest." He waits for further magic.

His beloved partner in crime twirls and whirls about him

And he watches with two hungry blue eyes.

And soon, the result is done.. not a handsome fellow.. not exactly

He pulls his gaze from Callidora and regards himself in the mirror again.

If Frank King had a cousin of Unseelie bent, it would be this. Rugged looks, a bit of hard won wisdom in the eyes.

"You are a genius, Callidora."

"Wait till you see the tattoo..." A smirk

"Ooo? Where?" he asks as he searches himself.

"Drop your pants, big boy, and turn the mirror... you know"

He gives her an incredulous look, and does as she bids.

A shattered crown on his right ass check, some writing under it, hard to make out in reverse. Latin- Non magis reges

"No.... no magic kings?"

"Sorry, it's supposed to be No more Kings Drat.. my Latin's rusty"

"Oh, I think it works either way, Dearest! I could be wrong, languages are not my specialty."

"Wait.... hold on....." he composes himself.

And then, suddenly, somehow, his similarity to Frank is even stronger.

There's no Glamour about it, no magic.... but the similarity is there, enhanced.
