"Hardly that." Hmmph. He finishes swallowing and gets up to rescue the cake parts, leaving them to cool.

He checks the frosting (approves) and retakes his seat. "Are you in touch with these Rivervale satyrs?

"I am. Marsha's a kinain, but a sweet heart. I think she might envy Brenda just a bit, but she also realises she has a mortal edge."

"I have always thought mortals more valuable than many give them credit for."

"Oh no arguement" She says

"This really was delicious, Dearest. Hm. Perhaps we should ask Caesar and April to dinner some time?"

"We should. Ask April, then have her bully him into showing up?" A smile

A chuckle. "It will work."

"Would you like me to invite the Wayburtons sometime? You seem curious."

Willam strokes his chin. "Well.... Rivervale."

"That's why I was thinking of inviting them here instead of going there. Reduce your temptation" she says

A smirk. "I -have- categorically supported your participation in a tragos....." he points out slyly.

"Yes yes, and soon if I want I can go to rivervale for one. Talk about irony"

He chuckles darkly.

"Yes, let's invite them as well."

"Mmmm....." He takes her closest free hand.

"It will be a few minutes before the cake is cool enough. Why don't you let me clean up? You rest on the couch? Perhaps find some music for us?"

"I will, but what if I fall asleep?" A wink

"I will wake you up with gentle kisses." He presses a kiss to her knuckles.

Her eyes light up with love and affection, "I'll take you up on that"

"Good. Now scoot."

She scoots and lays down on couch, resting happily

He cleans up quickly and soon pads into the living room.

He slips closer and kisses her gently.

She wakes fully, slowly, gradually purring.

He continues to kiss her awake.

Soon she's claiming his shoulders and pulling him in

"Mmm....." He is happily pulled in but murmurs the reminder. "Cake."

"FIne." She parts "I get cake now..." she brushes past him... "You get pie later"

A soft growl behind her as he follows her into the kitchen.
