A sigh. "My dear.... Caesar meant no slight or offense to you or your sister. He will support all of you, wherever it is you wish to be. He is not one to be... to make singular commitments, you understand? It is not in his nature. But he understands honor and duty. Will you give him a chance?"

"Sisters ,sir. May Maude and June Maude..." April says then takes a breath

The matre de waits patiently.

"And..and that's not what you wanted to know" She presses her glasses up, "We're triplets but there's some..discussion. WHether to tell him at all."

"Perhaps that ship has sailed?" Gently.

"Well, obviously, I insisted and..." sshe blushes "Am stating the obvious."

He nods sympathetically.

She lowers her eyes then "I suppose it's only right to give him a chance as you say. It takes two. " Then "This is...mortifying. You must think all three of us are the worst sort of women"

A soft laugh. "Not at all. Not in the least. I think you, and your sisters, are beautiful, vibrant women who are doing the world a great service, and should be honored."

"June would call you a smooth talking son of a gun, sir, but thank you." She looks up as Caesar and her mom are approaching.

"June would be right." He murmurs before they are rejoined.

Caesar approaches, "April, this is my mother. CC ..and I'm so sorry ... sometimes my lifestyle is... well, not just the satyr part... celebrities DO get full of ourselves. But I swear to you I never meant to hurt...."

April offers her hand to shake CC's, "Nice to meet you, ma'am. This gentleman of yours" A glance at Bill "has been... well, he's been very supportive. And... I'm sorry I slapped your son..." Honesty wins out "In your establishment"

CC endures the 'ma'am' ing, takes the hand, and actually laughs at the qualifer on the apology for the slapping, "Yes, well, both of them are good men. Though I completely understand about the slap. Caesar's a professional wrestler and used to having a script"

"Mom," Caesar groans.

April blushes "None the less, no one was..forced into anything. I cvan't sspeak for the others, but I won't be a burden anymore than..."

CC says "A burden? Are you kidding? Please, let's go back to the table, finish your meal." She looks at Bill, "Right honey? I think I can have the alternates take over for a bit and your crew can manage without you for a tad right?"

"Of course, if that is what you wish." He offers April his arm and escorts her back.

"How are MM and June doing?" Caesar asks with concern "hwo are they taking this?"

"Well, we talked, so we ... you might say collaborated a little. W'ere not a hive mind but we do know each other" April says as she is settled into her chair again, "But honestly? I'm the only one who wanted to come here."

Caesar looks pained at that.

April goes on, "June says we don't need anyone's help and we'll be fine. She wasn't even sure it was smart to tell you"

"She wants to raise a baby on her own as a single mother?" CC says surprised "I've been there. NOt easy."

April smiles and reminds, "It's a big farm with lots and lots of suport you can't even escape. No child gets raised JUST by their parents"

Caesar blinks "She wasn't even going to tell me I was going to be a father?" Yes. He's offended.

"She doesn't want your money, Caesar" April states.

"That's not my point" He grouses, "I know my kith has a rep whe nit comes to our lifestyles but we don't abandon our... The kids are mine too."

"Perhaps funds could be put in trust for the children."

"Sir, I didnt' come here to beg" April says firmly "I'll pay for this meal right now if you think I..."

"Now April, we both know it's not our judgment you're worried about" CC puts a hand on the young woman's arm, "Don't we? "

A soft laugh. "My dear, no. Let us all agree that money is not the point. Nor, in the long run, is injured pride. What matters is the fact that three beautiful children are coming.... and who among us is so rich as to afford to reject love?"

"I..." BLUSHING.."I do wonder what the other DeBukes will think. The family is always over joyed at new life but... the way we..came about" oh yes, if she were a true troll she'd be purple

The boggan pats her hand. "In passion, joy, pleasure, and freedom. How terrible." Just a little teasing.

"Oh you people dont' know trolls" She blushes some more.

"Oh but we do." He assures her.

"And you're not a troll, April. You have their blood, and yes influence, but just as you've been denied some advantages they might have, you have fewer..shall we say, restrictions?" CC points out

Caesar still looks a bit upset, "Will I get to see my children?"

"You -all- do." William includes her sisters.

"I can't speak for June..." She keeps not mentinonign May Maude or "MM"

"And May....." He trails off.

"May Maude is thinking of getting an abortion" She says "If the family knew they'd be furious"

Caesar's jaw drops.

CC lifts her head "oh. oh my."

A deep breath.

A sip of wine.

"If you are comfortable doing so, will you share with us her thinking?"

"Well sir, it might surprise you, but we all have dreams and hopes. May-Maude has her own... and a year plus of her life pregnant..she feels that would... ruin it"

"Only a year plus? " CC raises a brow, then "Oh right, then the family would help"

A nod, "But only if she stayed on the farm" April adds

"I mean, they'd help off but free care and raising is.." April takes a breath "Well, you can't have a village raise a child if you dont' live at the village"
