"I think we're crossing wires of communication. Do you, or do you NOT, now owe favors to other folks after paying off the favor to Chieftain Brekke?"

"Yes, yes I do. And you said you were helping to pay them off.... does that mean you have not begun to do so, then?"

"Well, you would have gotten it sooner but you have to realize taht's a heck of a story you laid on me about the Chief. SO glad the disguise held"

He chortles. "Part of me hopes she finds out...."

"That's because you're a bad man" A fond pat on his chest then a smile "But I can't lie, I'd fuss at you, then laugh along right side with you."

"Mmmm." Pleased, and not really grumpy.

"BUT as ever, I must be the soul of common sense and logic in this relation ship, so it's best she doesn't." Yes, she said that with a straight face

"Mmmmmm...." his eye still twinkles. "Could I send them just a little hint?"
