"Are you two enjoying yourselves I hope?" CC has not intruded often, but she does insist on checking in on kitten and the artist at least once to make sure all is going perfectly. Radiating a sex appeal, her gown drips on her like honey on a honey comb.

"Aye, Miss CC. My compliments, as always, to the kitchen..."

"Some of the new additions to the menu are amazing" Earl, in a fit of boldness tried some food he's never tried before, and found he liked it. "And who is the new guy on the Trombone? He's.. very good."

"Slide MacQuint? There's a stage name that gets him poked at," CC chuckles, "But yes. Didn't know you had a like of the instrument?"

"I took lessons once," He shakes his head. This is something Zara had not heard, did not know.

"Trombone?" Eyebrows, plural.

"My family went through this 'music man' phase... more than once... so for all their sneering at art, we had a summer where they encouraged us to take up music." He says "And I did not last the summer with that thing. I mean, most of the guys wanted to do rock and roll, so naturally they broke out clarinets, trumpets, and glockenpseils"

"Hey, I like Clarinets and trombones" CC says with a chuckle then "Not so sure about Glockenspiels"

"That... wow."

"Very DeBuke."

"So DeBuke" Earl nods "you know what's really annoying? Uncle Emmit actually plays a pretty good Bass guitar"

"I could see that. WIldheart."

"WIldheart?" CC arches a brow.

"He has a wild heart. Old hippie."

"Yeah, but most of the younger gen wasn't told about that...so there we were, learning the marching band type music when we could have been learning to rock ...which impresses the girls I hear." A smile to Zara at that though

CC laughs "Well, as you're in a Jazz and Blues club, you might find my own biases perculating. You two sit back, enjoy, and do your couple date thing. If you want for anything, you let CC know, okay?"

"Certainly, thank you."

CC sways off with that sensual stride that draws eyes as she moves to other tables to meet greet and bedazzle.

Earl looks at CC, then admits to Zara "You realize she could probably single handedly conquer a third of my cousins just by inhaling?"

"Oh, I could see that."

A soft laugh then "But not me, of course. I wouldn't be tempted because... well, got you" He tries to reassure.

"Thou knowest better. One doesn't want a jealous witch."

"Definitely not," He leans over and kisses her jawline, "One wants an amorous witch"

"Oh, that could be arranged..."

"Then I am a very fortunate man" A smile.

She returns it, eyes a-glimmer

At that moment, CC has claimed the mic again, and begins to sing "That Old Black magic has me... in its spell, that old black magic that you weave so well"

Earl breaks into a grin but does not stop gazing at Zara, indeed, his eyes drink her in with an almost feral cast

"Timing, nu?"

"I thought you told her to do that when I wasn't looking" He admits with a smile, but his hand slides along the length of her arm. ANd he asks "Almost done with dinner, love?" A bit of a purr to his voice.

Teasing tone. "Thou art hungry for dessert?"

"Guriev porridge perhaps?" He he takes her hand and kisses knuckles.

"Or anything else you'd suggest I sup?"

A soft shuff. "He thinks porridge... oy."

"Of course I think porridge, because " A kiss then part " You are just right"

"Ohhhhh..." A smirk, and she pokes his leg with her toe beneath the table.

A triumphant grin of wolf teeth, then a gesture "Check please."

His intent quite clear.

"That's better, aye."

A wink, and he pays the check quite rapidly, before standing, and offering his arm to escort her... "You know, Firnost ... haven't been upstairs there in awhile"

impatient creature!

"The troll suite, nu? Nice sturdy furniture..."

"Oh yes...well crafted that...large and roomy..." WIth her by his side they slip towards the door, discussing the...strength, durability, and size the furniture.

The daughter of upholders, Zara determines that they must test the quality of said furniture. Rigorous study.

For heritage then!

For science!

And with that noble goal in mind, the two young lovers vanish into to Firnost grab keys and ...honor heritage as they make scientific inquiry of the most enjoyable sort.
