"The Balor stole my mother from me."

"No, the lady maur..what'ever, she used to have symbols on her boots. I think she had them filed off. And yes. they did."

"Lauren. Yes."

A soft squeeze. "Did you want to head to the farm?"

"I suppose that would be wise..."

A nod.

She touches the crown around the deer's throat, expression a muddle of frustration and thwarted curiosity.

"You do still have that paper to translate." he reminds

"I do!" She wraps the necklace in the paper, putting it back in the box. "I want to go home. Still tired."

"Okay. Home instead. " he rises with her, "Do you think the bookwyrm egg would be safe with your collection? You have some very old books."

"I do have quite a few. Oh - I could make it a nest!" The box is tucked away somewhere in the layers of her costume.

He notices this. he noticed her stare, and he knows she's being tempted. He's a very empathic perceptive sensitive boyfriend. He's also a troll and a part of him has to quelch the urge to take that damn box and chuck it into the path of a pile driver.

"And I shall work on that page... I seem to remember I had read it before?"

"You probably did. You're a wizard in more than one way" He smiles at that actually, the first smile he's given in awhile.

"I prefer Sorceress. Enchantress. Witch." She gives a little twirl.

"The most sublime sorceress, the most enchanting enchantress, the most wonderfully wicked witch there was." yes a laugh

"Aye. Flatterer." She takes his hand, walking towards the hold.

BIC; "If I am, it's because you are most worth you of the flattery."

"Recursive flattery! Impressive!"

A laugh "I love you so much" he admits.

A shy smile. "I love you, too."

And he kisses her gently at that.

A black-gummed grin, quick and genuine, without her usual "correction."

A blush "I think I'm seelie again. Oh dear lord. I've been over dressing for a week haven't I? And I don't mean the hunter garb"

"No, you mean that oh-so-delicious coat..."

"Well yeah, it's not..overblown?" Realizing he probably sounds silly being insecure about clothes "You like it?"

"Mmmm...." nearly a purr.

"Huh," A tilt of his head, "I suppose seelie or not some change is good. Do you mind making a few more suggestions for my wardrobe?"

"Well, you can wear what makes you happy... but... maybe dress up sometimes? For me?"

He takes her hands up and kisses her knuckles "For you indeed."

"Obviously, not for painting... but, oh, for a date?"

"Oh yes," A blink "Oh sweet Frey, I haggled an Eiluned into getting us globe tickets. I'm going to need an outfit just for that won't I?"

"Oh! Aye! Did you see what show?"

A smile "Perhaps. But maybe I'll keep that secret and put the knowledge in my shrine"

"Thou mustn't! We must go!"

"It is the Globe. The real one - Shakespeare!"

"Oh we will" He promises "And..."A lower voice "Truthfully I won't know what she's got us yet. I do know I asked that it be suited to sluagh sensibilities. So.. beyond that, anyone's guess. I doubt it's Julius Caesar"

"Mayhaps Hamlet? Macbeth? Oh - knowest thou a Winter's Tale?"

"I know of it. Is it good?"

"It is unique."

"Well, if you enjoy it, that's what matters most to me, I tend to enjoy when you enjoy things because even if I don't like them as much as you do, your eyes get this big and you clasp your hands together or squeeze mine."

A soft laugh. "I'm glad you enjoy that, at least."

"I do, and I like most of his plays. I find Romeo and Juliet a bit over hyped, is that odd?"
