OOC Point of order. Does it work on Coradel??

To say he looks off-balance is an understatement.

((Well, she already sees a fair amount of this, much of the time...))

OOC Ok, HOW, but..... *Grin*

OOC: Not only does Coradel see it, there's a pleasing sense of 'so there!' she gets as she can FEEL everyone else wowing over him and finally seeing past his House (Those that did get hung up on the Liam thing anyway)

Magnus grins, "Looking good ole boy."

Claire mutters, "Five shades of disturbing."

August is FLAMING RED....

Flaming red? Nah, he shines with the gentle glow of the goodly, like a rose at dawn.

Coradel notices the blush (it is hard to miss), and smiles. "It does not show anything that is not true. Enjoy it, my Liam."

He swallows, and nods.

She takes his hand, turns, and raises their joined hands together in a gesture of victory!

Earl covers Zara's ears

And just in time as cheers break out!

Tries to smile? Grins, a bit?

And a dozen hearts that would normally be hardened to a Liam melt.

"Does he need a mentor?" Bachdion asks. People break out laughing not at August, but at the Satyr

Zara hides her face against Earl's side, she can congratulate August later....

Coradel is part of the laughter there, and she smiles at Bachdion. Then she turns back to August. "Forgive me, your majesty." A wink. "But I must tend to Samson." She gives him a bow...followed by a stealing a quick kiss...before moving back to where Samson is being cared for by Squire Honoria.

Squire Honoria sighs as she looks at August "Suddenly I wish I were a wilder." And indeed, in years to come, she may have a preference for dark haired guys.

August.... genuinely does not know what to do.

August need do nothing but stand there, look pretty .

Well. That, he can do.

She smiles to Honoria. "The time will come." And she pats Samson's wet neck. "You were magnificent."

Samson, with the blanket on him seems refreshed somewhat already, and nuzzles her.

She has Honoria help her out of her jousting armor.

When it quiets, Zara semi-unmerges from Earl to offer August a smile. (Spidery fingers still clinging to his tabard) "It looks good on you, August. Suits."

"I... it... ah. No. I mean..... "

"... Zara. You understand. I can't.... attention? No...." Softly.

"August, you can. You can do this. Bring honor to your Lady, nu?"

"I... yes." He braces himself, and takes his place.

She speaks with Honoria a bit, then returns to the others, perspiring artfully and in far less armor than before.

"You are brave. I have known that for a long time."

He nods, focusing on what he needs to do.

Zara futzes with Earl's armor, making sure all the points are correctly tied.

She smiles at August, and leans in to speak with him softly (but not a whisper). "August, they will hear you today, when they would not have listened to you before. Merely give them a good example to remember hereafter."

"As you wish, my lady. You are insane." Polite and true.

"Well fought, Miss Coradel."

"Yes, my Liam...as you say, of course." A smile and wink to him.

"Thank you, Zara. I hope you enjoyed."

August stand awkwardly in the ... attention.

"Well... loud."

"Oh...yes, it must have been. Hmm. Perhaps I can see if the boggans have a supply of earplugs...?" She looks around for one of them.

She shakes her head. "It is fine, but thank you."

"Well...don't hesitate to ask if you catch one." Then she smiles past Zara at Earl. "I look forward to a good fight, Earl."
