Permaz the Qareen, might just strike Zara as amazing. A wilder who looks like a teenager to mortal eyes, her true self looks wrinkled and aged save for those bright eyes. She will live a long time, time to learn... yet starts out wizened. And there is much a sluagh might envy "I never forget anything" She explains as she talks of her kith "Even when I wish I could." "I... well, I am uncertain if 'have' is the best term. I do care for Bronte, but she does well to determine her own path. A'times, I wonder if she considers me a part of her hoard."

"If she does, then you are doubly blessed. To be fair, I have heard Bookwyrms can be possessive of their librarians and writers. It's a point of status for them"

"Yes, the Rovers are most attentive... but there are risks always. Less so than parts of my homeland. Zealotry and extremism are so banal that silver paths crumble there at alarming rates"

She shakes her head. "Tragic."

"I am so tired of remembering sacred shrines now only existing in my memory or tourist photographs, so tired of knowing books of poetry that were thrown into a fire... and I can barely think on the girrls who laughed joyously on their way to schools and now... now they find their world shrinking and confining"

Zara frowns slightly. "I understand the sorrow, aye. But... for the pain, those memories are blessings. For in you, they live."

"I suppose. I have considered writing down some of the poems i read, the things told me by young girls who will now never be free women"

"That would be a mitzvah."

"mmm yes well, perhaps... if I can get Clio to scribe a few things for me properly, would you like a copy of the same? It's the least we can do after your generous books. I have not seen Stu so happy in my short time I've been here"

"That would be a wonderful gift."

"I shall try to make at least some choice recordingss for it then, thank you. I do apologize if I talk your ear off. I am told your kith is .. not terribly social"

"As a rule, no. I am considered gregarious to a rather unseemly degree."

"But I do like listening to stories, and sharing tea with pleasant company."

"Gregarious? You strike me as most reserved, though not rudely so. I thank you for the complient on company"

"For one of the underdwellers, I am positively extroverted."

"Noted" Permaz smiles "Then, perhaps to restore your reputation, I shall ramble about Qareen and Ifrit and more... and you can tell the others you pried such information out of me and it was a trial to keep up converse"

And with that offer made, Zara may sit quietly, enjoy her tea, and honestly claim she wasn't the chatty one
