The Afghanistan daughters of eve have been filtered into those saved by the Military at Fort Bliss next not so far El Paso! And from there, Phoenix Arizona, and then Austin or Dallas Ft worth.... other parts of Texas. Not all, of course, one or two surprised everyone by staying around tiny Fort Davis... but the majority will. Indeed, some Texans take pride in this assistance they're providing. in a state awash with cruel leadership among the mortals, and seeming indifference from the voters, it's proven to be a saving grace.

The Jinn are less scattered so far, but that may change. Shandanna, an Eshu childling, went with her mortal mother ..excited to have a chance to see other areas too. THough she will miss Ashlee who she made friends with.

Tasneem has taken to the area like a duck to water. The woman already seems to be well into the smuggling business, but despite her kith's ability to mislead folks to ruin, she seems to be keeping it mostly benevolent. With a new secret clinic for women in need to bypass the law set up , Tasneem has become invaluable in making sure they get there. She feels foul, but appears to be fair.

Zahab has embraced America to an almost ridiculous degree, but in her own pooka style. She pushes the often quiet Nessa into adventures such as going to fast food places, seeing REAL American movies, and beholding the wonders of a Monster Truck competition....which she describes as 'Four Wheeled Kaiju!'

Kushaaneh has decided she can be friend with Grete AND Catir after all, and seems determined to prove herself a warrioress guardian comprable with Ashlee. Indeed, she seems to have a competitive streak. Of course, sometimes she grows sad and withdraws.
