Cliff waits for his elder and representative to speak.

"drone I think, Cliff say them too..." Wencenslais whispers

"Pardon? Did you say Drum?" the Scathach asks

Cliff nods. "Drones. Plural. Outside."

"What are they here for?" The Chancellior seems surprised "Tell me they are at least Chimerical drones?"

Wencenslais shrugs "I think they were Autumn."

Cliff nods agreement again "Don't know why they are here, but can't be good. Didn't seem enchanted or glamourous. Didn't look too close, though."

"Would you two be willing to snoop about annd find whoever is piloting them?" The Chancellior says

"I am."Cliff says "You take down the drones themselves somehow?"

"I'll find a way to do it, but I want it to look.. normal. I may see if I can find Ryder. Fine Nocker lad"

Cliff nods a third time. "I will go look for the operator." and off he goes.

and off he goes...

And he looks around, super cautious... it doesn't take long for him to notice the jeep parked

Taking environmental concerns (time of day, brightness level, areas of shade, etc)into account, he gets as close as he can.

He sees two people in their late twenties, one man, one woman. On the side of the jeep, he can make out a company logo...Endron Mining...

the woman nods "Bring the drone down ... I.." She turns. She has a cap to keep the sun out of her eye but... "Who's shadow is that?"

Cliff freezes, doing his best to be one with the sand and rocks.

The guy, operatinng the drone, turns "What the... some one is hiding behind a rock"

"Well, bring the drone around and see who it is, moron" She snaps. Pretty but surly

In the seconds he has, Cliff looks to see if he can squirm into a crevasse in the rocks?

"What the hell? The drone's powered down... I'm losing control"

A few seconds bought; Cliff tries to hide.

The woman gets out and looks for him but... Cliff is not there. "I swore I saw his shadow.. or her shadow"

Cliff stays tucked away.

"Well the drone's totally drained of power I ..."

"You didn't chargge the battery? You IDIOT" She snarls

Soon, they're getting ito the jeep. This allows Cliff annother peek and he can make out the plates

He's got the make, model, and plates, in fact. And he'll take that info back to Sir Dubh, along with the company names.

He returnns to find Dubh patting a young wheel chair bound nocker on the shoulder "thank you, Ryder. Not all of are good at glamouring tech"

"I was born for this" Ryder chortles finer tips seem to be juggling... is that electricity?

"I did not know you could ggimmix energy out of a device..." the Chanceellior looks impressed

"Nockers don't just think outside of the box, Sir. We build a better box, then kick it over and go make an octogon"

Wencennnslais whispers to Cliff as Cliff shows up "Are you all right?"

A quiet grunt. "Hid in the rocks. Would have been close, though, if the drones had kept working. I have descriptions for the knight."

A nod

The Chanccelor turns, "Mr. Cliff. What did you learn?"

Cliff tells him

"Damn..." the scathach frowns and paces then stops "Pardon me, Mr. Cliff. I should thank you first before I go complaining to the air. Well done."

"Welcome."

"I'll inform the baroness. Ryder, enjoy your ice crream, Mister Cliff, do you require the bale ?"
