She STANDS on the pedal!

Nessa rubs her head a bit and looks towards the front of the truckbed - is there a window into the cab?

Nope. Hold onto your wihers, the piskie has floored it and she's got the windows up and locked!

"NO!" Jazzy starts to chase

but even a satyr can't catch a pick up as it zooms

Irene has played a lot of racing games!

Turning back, she checks on Jazzy - worried for a moment that she will catch up! and a sigh as they leave her behind.

This is probably not at all reassuring for the centaur in the back.

Nessa almost misses the ropes as she slides a bit, and holds onto the side of the bed.

SOmehow, the little piskie keeps the truck racing! SOMEHOW...the centaur doesn't flip out of the bed...

Neither of them notice the food truck selling food as they shoot by ... trying to get away from a satyress. They keep on trucking

The ropes are tied to the truckbed and Nessa realizes that she can hold onto the ropes... they're not bad if they're not TYING her...

Yes, she's got this!

As they get into town, she ducks down. "Be careful! Pull over if it's safe!"

"Doot doo doo, do do doot doo doo.." She sings Mario Kart music!

Irene is not sure she can see EVERYTHING but hey, the window is bigger tahnn her video game screenn

Oh, that's Hope's coffee shop!

She takes her foot off the gas and STANDS on the brake.

ERRRRKKK... WHUMP ... possibly a WHAP of a centaur too

SLIDE THUD into the front of the cab. And Nessa calls, a bit wobbily "...I'm okay!"

She turns the key to off... without shifting into park. Jazzy's transmission makes an interesting noise!

Hope looks out a window while offering coffee to someone, then blinks and nearly spills coffee on someone, which would be the first time in 10 years

"Irene?" can be heard behind glass

She unlocks the doors and takes the keys out with her.

A rather disheveled and dizzy looking centaur in the truckbed starts shaking free of the ropes she had in a white-knuckle grasp.

"Nessa, are you okay?" She runs around to check the centaur.

Looks like the boggan has handed work over to one of heer human staff and is running out there

Irene is tugged back up into the truckbed when she gets within reach, and Nessa is squeezing her in a fierce hug!

"That was SO COOL! It was like GTA but BIGGER! I never stole a whole car before!"

Indeed, Irene is bubbling with glamour!

"You still should have gone for help!" Nessa scolds! "Oh, but I'm so glad you were there."

Hope comes out, "What on earth? Oh my word" She moves to them both "Nessa, Irene ? What's going on?"

"Hope! We have to get word to the hold - to my family. There's someone out there - we stranded her down on I-17, I think? But there's some sort of... of bounty, on centaurs."

"A satyr tried to steal Nessa! She tied her up but we stole the truck back!"

Hope takes out her phone and takes a picture of the truck's plate, then texts "Working on it. Both of you, in the coffee shop, but carefully. I don't like the look of your eyes, Nessa. They seem exra large"

"Hope, Hope, Hope, I drove the truck!"

"YES" Hope nods and smiles "Your mother must never know or she'll have a fit"

"I dropped SpringFlower the Unicorn, in case we got lost...."

"She gave me something to drink... and she came at me with this needle. Oh, I hope I didn't hurt her when I kicked her. Though she seemed ok when she chased us..." Perhaps babbling a little.

"She roofied you? THAT THAT.. oh come on in"

"And we'll get Springflower back" A promise

"Like Hansel & Gretl, right? You could find her, and know something was wrong, and then follow her to find us."

"Oh, hey, she had... let me check..."

The piskie is off, looking in the cab. Phone, purse?

Phone jacked in.. yup!

No purse though
