Then Ashlee gets whomped in the gut

Grete is having fun, now that the bops and tosses are in good sport and not name calling.

When Gym ends with another victory for Irene and her team... the kids are feeling great! Funny Irish accents on some students and teachers... emerald decor... and sweat!

"Victory!" Flexing.

"I think grete's got a gift for the game too.. i mean, her FIRST Day" Ashlee is impressed

"We never got to play games like this at the academy. They wanted us to learn Croquette."

"Like... with the mallets and little balls?" Ashlee says

"Oh, I played that one on the wii. It's interesting. Never played it for real, though."

"It was boring and you're not supposed to sweat or get dirty."

"Well, more fun if you get dirty."

Ashlee says "Sounds like golf with less walking" She clearly doesn't think much of golf

Not every mortal girl is a Sara Jo. One friend of Irene's waves "Hey, Irene! Who's your friend?"

Iris and Irene are friends partly because both their names start with IR

Grete heads up, a little unsure about the girls. What if they are girls?!

"This is Grete! She's nice and knows how to dig good holes and the names of every rock!"

"Iris can climb the FASTEST to the top of the jungle gym."

Iris beams "It's easy" It's not but she's happy to humble brag a little

"That's impressive. I don't think I could climb to the top at all. I'm not.. what's the term. Nimble?"

"You're sturdy." Irene nods.

"nothing to be wrong with Sturdy" Iris says, at least her voice sounds irish kind of "Irene, the new Unicorn Riders movie, you saw it right?"

"Yes!"

"We are UNICORN RIDERS! We ride UNICORNS!"

Iris joins in! Then says 'oh right.. well, they've got a video game coming out because of the movie"

BIG EYES. "Ohhhh, wow."

"I KNOW right? It's like gonna have racing, and shooting and saving the scamperbuns! "

"Sweet!"

Ashelee whispers to Grete "This is going to be a thing for them for awhile"

"I love scamperbuns..." Iris sighs "SO Cute"

"Really? Wasn't it just a movie?" She seems unimpressed.

"TWO movies. And there's little unicorn toys..."

"And books!"

Iris chimes

"And books!"

Ashlee braces

"And, oh, Unicorn Rider legos ALMOST happened" Oh the tragedy that big corproations can't play nice together

Sigh!

"Well, we can make Mugmort's Crystal Cave without their help!"

"True.. and maybe better" She says "Too bad we can't get the crystal look right" A slight frown at that

"We can imagine it."

"Maybe we can go to class now."

But she grins a bit.

"Oh right.." Ashlee says "Bell's about to ring"

"Oh, sure!"

And they scramble!

Grete dislikes at least one class..but she really likes at least two!
