"You look FINE. Are you in our class?"

"I... don't know? I think so... are there many classes? When are the learning symposiums?"

"Do they have a personal evaluator I need to discuss that with? And should I meet with the headmaster?"

"I'm trying to remember how things were at the academy, but it seems so long ago since we went remote..."

Ashlee says "Uhm we just have class periods"

"You'll meet the teacher, and she'll give you a desk, and make you introduce yourself..."

"And EVERYONE eyeballs you and you feel terrified like you've got toiletp paer in your shoes" Stu 'helps'

Grete checks her shoes... relief. "Did that happen to you, Stu?"

"Me? No humliation ever happened to me at school"

Ashlee's eyes narrow "if anyone hassles Grete they'll have to go through me" A beat "If we have the same classes. Do you have your class line up on paper?"

"Um." She remembers seeing something like that... and pulls off her backpack. "Stu, can you hold this for me? I need to find that printout."

Stu takes it

All around them, mortal kids unknowingly dressed like leprhechauns m,ill about

HEAVY - It feels like a bag of rocks.

"If you are in class with me an Ashlee, we could be in a GROUP for projects, not just pairs!"

Grete pulls out her list while Stu sweats

She does have to shift past several chunks of rock to get there, but there are also books in there. In there with the rocks?! Ah, the paper. "It says... uh." She shows Ashlee and Irene.

Amazing luck,( possibly borrowed from some poor sluagh, and thus explaining her terrible dice rolls!) it turns out Irene and Grete have at least THREE classes together!

"Oh, we're together all morning!"

"Oh, GOOD." She tucks the sheet back into her backpack, hasn't noticed Stu sweating, and easily lifts it from him to sling over her shoulder again. "When can we go to that yard over there?" Pointing to the playground. "I want to take a closer look at the flagstones..."

"Well, class is about to begin" Ashlee says "They don't just let you do anything you want here"

"Oh. Mama made it sound like you just got to run around all day." She sounds a bit disappointed.

"I wish" Ashlee says

"We can look at lunch!"

"Oh! I brought lunch! Hope put it in a bag for me."

"I have lunch too. I made green ham!"

Ashlee grins

"I have a Peanut Butter and Jelly.. .oh, sorry, Almond Butter and Jelly. Someone might be alergic"

Stu is brushing his glasses "Where green isn't, neither should we be"

"Should I wear something green?"

"If you don't want to get pinched yes" Ashlee says

Irene offers Grete a scrunchie.

A laugh. Her hair is so short... but she pulls it onto a wrist. "It works!"

"Exactly. They're hair ties AND bracelets."

"Yes, exactly what i meant" The pooka says and draws the girls back with effort for Ashlee is big and Grete is strong

There is one teacher, who has no Irish voile today. who is not gren, indeed, her colors are flat, and lifeless

"I'd like someone to try pinching me now..."

She pauses, looking at that teacher. "Who is THAT?"

"The Grizmonster" He says

"She's the meanest teacher in the whole school" Ashlee agrees

"She's cold."

"Do we have to go to her class?" Starting to rethink this idea of school. It was kinda nice just pretending to work at a tablet...

"I don't have her... do you?"

She checks her schedule...

Thank goodness, no!

"No Grizmonster!" She shows them triumphantly.

"Hey.." Ashlee points "Who is the new teacher?"

There is a name she hasn't seen before

"I guess I'll find out that period..." Checking it.

Looks like it's PE.
