Nessa drapes the necklace over Sparrow as she bows.

"Fantastic... I swore I heard my daughter's voice" the queen mutters

Robin Hood bounces back with a cone of ice cream. "For the queen! The finest dessert in all the land!"

The Queen blinks at hte fox mask and takes the cone "Thank you" And she takes a lick

Grape!

She takes the lick, then whispers behind the cone "Irene? is that you?"

A finger to her lips and a merry grin.

"Tonight I'm Robin Hood. Look, Rhonda is Maid Marian!"

Grete watches Irene chat with her Queen Mother, a little wistfully.

"She IS" The Queen saysk, and drunk or not, she pulls Robin into a hug "Okay. Now this is the BEST Dream because it has you.. err RObin hood, in it" She looks happy sad "This is what I wish I could give you, magic and make believe and happy times. I'm so sorry I can't be there to get you that"

"But you're HERE." She hugs her mom back. "You're the best Queen Mom."

It would appear the teasing Sparrow might get has totally ended as there's a glamour here of family generating this night of all nights.

Even the redcaps are kind of 'awwww'

Still, Sparrow takes time to greet everyone.

And will do the chicken dance.

That gets big laughs even from the queen

The queen says "Okay, everyone join in... " She looks at her daughter "Want to dance, Robin?"

"Yes!" Excited, taking her mom's hand.

And the queen chicken dances with her daughter! Finally able to give Irene the attention she wanted to

One saytr says "I got to admit, did not see this as a carnival thing"

"I wager there might be room for more adult revelry up on the roof, under the stars. But don't ask me, there's nobody here but us chickens. Bawk."

Earth Runes, after all, is a Fiona hold. Sparrow plans.

"Nah, it's good" the satyr says and surprises Sparrow by putting a hand on her shoulder "Hey, we were a bit unsure about comihng back or showing ourselves, but you're all right... Thanks for the invite"

A shy smile back. "Glad to have you here."

"Harkson would have imprisoned someone by now" He says "Guy was an asshole..well worse but you get me": He looks at his friends "Few more drinks then maybe higheru p guys. Buy the chicken a drink"

"They're free" his buddy points out

She laughs. "Thought taken!"

Nessa has headed up to the roof already, though the party is mostly below - or perhaps, because of this. The fresh night air is welcoming, and so is the relief from the crowds.

She laughs a bit to herself at that, glad that they both are having fun.

Curiously she moves closer, trying to soften her hoofbeats so she doesn't startle anyone.

And Irene? her mom wants to meet her friends.. even if it's introducing her to 'batman' and not Ryder, or Toph and not Grete!

And Sparrow feels a pull from Hope "Queen says you can take a half hour off duty if you like. She's grateful for you letting her meet her daughter like this"
