And indeed, on the night of carnival, Irene IS Robin Hood! Her costume, and Rhonda Rhino's outfit, both perfect!

Nor is she alone, all over Brightwinds, the final and finished costumes are being worn as folks begin to gather. Not just inside the hold, but in the barony. Everyone seems to be testing the waters of this once neglected, borderline forbidden holiday!

Irene checks her costume in the mirror - Dio's stole certainly makes for a fine tail!

It certainly does! She looks SO much like Robin Hood!

A knock on the door

Irene pops over top open it.

A masked girl, a painted mask of sunshine and butterflies , it's lovely, and she has the most beauitufl ball gown "uhm.. it's me. Ashlee"

The mask covers the blighted face, and there's writing on it

'the beauty that you see? it all came from me'

Her eyes widen. "Oh, wow! Ashlee, you look like a princess!"

She reaches out to touch the puffy skirt.

and somehow, the mask doesn't hide the smile "I had help.. but not with the painting. Dio insisted I do that."

"Well, of course you should! You're a good artist."

"I'm okay, but I'm getting better" She twirls "Mom always said I was ugly and stupid and would never amount to anything, but.. I do all right, don't I?"

"Of course you do! Ohhh, the skirt is spinny..." Irene tries a twirl, too.

Her tail goes around!

Grete comes in, wearing her Toph-inspired outfit. It even has a mask! A band of sheer fabric over the eyes that Grete can see through, but gives the impression of being blinded.

"Hey, Robin Hood!" And she peers at the taller masked girl. "Who's this?"

Ashlee coughs "It's uhm me" Whether her voice is recognized or not, she doesn't think to give a name

"Princess Ashlee!"

"But..." Above her eyemask, Grete's brows furrow. "But what are you wearing?"

"It's a dress and a mask" Ashlee explains

"I know that. But it's not..." A huff. "You were going to be the blue demon. It was a theme." She tugs at her own Avatar-styled outfit.

"I like your outfit, Grete."

Ashlee realizes "Oh... I..."

She pokes the witchel. "Doesn't Ashlee look PRETTY and HAPPY."

"I guess I could go change but someone already took the Blue SPirit mask"

She FROWNS and looks put upon. But after a long moment, she says, grudgingly, "Yeah, it's nice."

"You can't! You made that mask! And the dress goes with it, too..."

"I must capture the Avatar!" A voice says behind them

"Zuko?"

She turns...

"What Zuko?" A voice gasps "No no no relation to ZUko" behind them.. in a dramatic pose...

Irene giggles.

"Never heard of this Zuko guy" Says Stu

She eyes him. "Aren't you a little short for a blue demon?" Hands on her hips.

"Wow, you both look so nice. Did Hope make them?"

"I'm sorry I burned your feet" he says

She casts a glance and and forth from Stu to Ashlee, her chin jutting a bit as she ponders.

"But the mask, is mine...wmhahahaa" Stew declares

Ashlee is.. quiet

"Can we get you some cool swords too?" And back to Ashlee. "Princesses can have swords too, you know. Or one of those... the round blade thing. From that ancient show with the warrior princess."

"Or a magic wand?"

"Did someone say ..weapons?" Catir 's voice can be heard

"Gr-Toph did!"

"No." Grete respnds practicaly. "We said swords, and wands."

But a tiny grin.

"Toph doesn't need weapons, she has rocks."
