"I have time, but how about we take this to the dining room where we can sit and work, instead of having you stand there like a supplicant? Irene, can you ask Mary Ellen to get some warm drinks and munchies?"

"Delightful" he says, "Thank you, Baroness, and thank YOU, Irene. "

Irene tips a salute and skeedaddles to the kitchen.

"Good lass there" he says

"Irene's very sweet. Making friends. So - the dining room is this way...." Peter might be lighter at the belt.

Dio says "She's adorable! Now, Peter, may I call you Peter?" She takes his arm

"Well of course, Lady Dio" he grins "Might I call you Dio informa like?" he follows with her

"I think you should, considering you seem to have one of my tokens...." She gestures to her bare wrist where, when this conversation began, there was a bracelet "Bold of you, I shall support you no mater HOW many bones are broken at tourney"

"WHOOPS" he says and hands over the bracelet "Pardon, Dio. It's in my nature though that is a lovely..." He looks at his waist and laughs

"Pardon?" She wasn't ready for the laugh

Sparrow lifts her brows. "What happened?"

"Oh what comes natural, what comes natural" Peter grins "Steam and Steel, that girl's got a deft touch for one so young. My magic keys are missing"

Dio says "Magic?" She says

"She really - oh, well. You would know. She's very good at finding things."

"Oh yes, opens any locked door just about.." He's not offended "And helps you find hidden doors besides. She'll have a blast with it.. then eventually return it. It's our way" A nod to the Baroness "And thank you for understanding, Sparrow" Going informal now that they are out of court, "Piskie's don't take what is worth money , they borrow things of wonder and each piskie has their own idea of wonderful. On top of that, we're very tactile. One of the reasons we often do odd jobs as we travel... it feels GOOD to keep the hands busy"

She nods. "Irene is showing a real talent with clay at the art center. Tactile makes sense."

The food prepared is smelled first before it is seen, and it is rich and pleasant

"Well - mine is simple enough. Irene, heretofore, has been our only piskie. I think she would benefit going on some adventures with her kithmates - if you can find, from time to time, an occasion for a tagalong?"

"Huh.. sure. I could show the rails. Got to warn you, hoboing can be addicting"

"mmm we may have to shoemaker the woman" he ponders

You get a group of kithain, boggans are masters at it, to go into an overworked human's house when they're asleep or not there... and fix and repair everything that needs fixing, clean up everything, organize it all... stock the place with groceries, and IF you can, help them with some work on top of it.. .originally, shoes. "That's... oh, that's such a wonderful thing! Irene won't say it, but..." A frown in the direction of the kitchen. "There's a lot of hardship here."

"Was before" he nods "Will be aftter. Fort Davis is blessed in a lot of ways, but it's not a paradise." He says eating

She nods. "But some effort, we can make it better for the mortals here..."

"You're a lIam all right" He grins "now, may I mention my people's requests in turn?"

"Of course - oh, try one of those little dumpling things."

"Mmm" he does enjoying

"Now, onne big concen is.. how much influence do you have with local law authorities? Given our.. need to touch and borrow, we Piskies often have a bit of a snag there. Everyone slips up"

"Currently, not a lot. But I can see the concern..."

"We would like you to encourage some influence there, be it your thanes or common folk or what not.. just for that purpose. We can help with falsifying records"

She nods. "I see why it can be helpful. It will need to be the right person - but this is a small enough town..."

"We'd also like to have a new hand made if possible"

"Oh yes, sorry, I forget you don't know. One of the three, well... Harkson was old school. he cut off her hand. We would like help getting her a chimerical one"

"oh my... I.." he seems surprised at her reaction, and her agreement "Well, we . we have some dross to pay for it"

She nods. "We might need a bit of fundraising there. I know Colton's was expensive... but it's on par with any Dougal aid, works just like his original when around Dreaming folk."

"She'd be grateful for the help" he seems surprised "Just like that, you're agreeing? I thought you might demand things in return"

"No. Rectifying Harkson's injustices is... that's a priority. It is my first duty as Baroness."
