Sparrow doesn't make too much fuss when Grete blushes. But she does smile. She's proud of the childling, and has been bragging on her.

Dio hums the song happily

A grin at Dio.

"I like yours better" Dio says "But yes, big John"

"Maybe you can teach Little Joe that song..."

A grin as she shakes her head. "I'll ask Mr. Snitch to do it. I can't sing!"

"Sixteen tons is a ggood working man's song " Peter says

"AND Working girls."

"Oh dear" Dio says at that term

She peers at Dio. "What? I work as hard as any one else."

"That you do" Dio says "Perhaps Hard working girl fits better..." A look at Sparrow and a whisper "or is that worse?"

"I... I like the sound of hard-working girl, yes."

"I'll ask Mr. Snitch if he knows any songs about hard-working girls."

"..ah..."

"Ah, ask if he knows Dolly?"

"I don't know that one. Mama wanted me to listen to Puccini."

"Rosie the Riveter , now there was a lady" Peter says

"Oh, yeah!" She makes a pose. "We can do it!"

"Who?" Dio asks blankly. But Sparrow can tell she's playing dumb so the childling won't have to admit she doesn't know

Her head tilts.

"Rosie was back in the Second World War - all the men went off to fight, so the women took over working in the factories, making the ships and parachutes and tanks.... back when people didn't think women could do anything unladylike."

"Darn straight, and she was a changeling. Everyone agrees, and at least five kiths claim her. Why," Peter says "She might have been a wichtel"

Eyes widen. "She's bad ASS!" and NODS to Peter. "I bet she was, or coulda been, or SHOULDA been."

"I bet!"

"Well, she was strong and stubborn and never stopped working so maybe. Now boggans and nockers claim her too, and I won't like, some piskies think she was one of us... but now that I think of it, she sure could have been a Wichtel. " Peter nods in that totall support way kids need/want to hear

Thoughful. "If it makes people happy to think she belongs to them, and makes them work harder to live up to her, then sure, she can be anything."

A grin though. "Even though I bet she WAS a wichtel."

Sparrow grins.

"Well, one story I know, whatever she did, was a factory where all hope was lost... production was down.... and then entered Rosie... annd the musing began!"

And he rattles on a story about about a turn around in a time of need where 'We can do it' inspired every daughter of Eve to greatness
