"Well, you know I've been an advisor on fashion and design to both the Duchess and Countess for a while now. When a Regent tenures her resignation, so to speak, It travels up and then to the side. Naturally I called Magnus up and declared him a beast for not telling me. He thought I should fuss at YOU about that," She takes a drink "How charming of you, Clarence, thank you ever. How did you know my preferences? Marvelous..." Then she chatters back to track A "Well, naturally now I had TWO reasons to chide Magnus... throwing you under a bus like that. Brothers really are terrible bores aren't they? Clearly our mothers don't beat them enough"

Clarence puffs at the praise, bows . Oh dear. He may have a crush on Dio. SHe's always been effusive in praise and somehow sincere

"Well, I had meant to send messages, but I just... oh, it's been a whirlwind..."

"Of course!" She beams "Of course. Darling you are a dedicated soul. You were always the serious one, and never neglected a duty" She takes a sip "Oh I see what you meant by strong. I'll have to take this slow or I shall end up with another hat story"A light blush

"Oh, not here. Though I imagine you will get your share of attention... hm.. you might be the twins' type..."

"Oh I don't even..." A pause "Twins?"

"Winter and summer, quite the rivalry..."

"Oh my" She says "Well, clearly I accept" Dio beams

"Well, so there's the "older" brother, Sir Brynn - a falcon, so our Summer, of course."

"Bryndan, the younger, is Daireann - they really are a charming house..."

"Oo Daireann tend to think less of we Fiona" She pouts then says "But maybe I can change his mind" She sips "Lovely! "

"Now, tell me, is there a lady that's caught your interest?"

Feather-fluff, blush. "Not quite."

"Oh as long as the lads aren't pestering you, all good things in time" Dio says "Now, what would you like me to work on first?"

"Work on?" Blink.

"Well, obviously, I told you I accept" Dio takes her shawl off "Clarence would you oh how charming"

Clarence is already retrieving.

"I... " She seems at a loss for words.

"Don't worry, I've been needing a change anyway. Both Duchess and Countess have been passing me back and forth and I'm not sworn to either of them. And I've brought them up to speed so they barely need me anymore." She looks about not just at the view "Oh the hold is already shaping up to your nature- wonderful. But a touch here or there, particularly in those dreadful dungeons wouldn't hurt"

"But we're so isolated, Dio..."

"I know, good thing I have my bag. Saves so much time. " Dio beams "Now don't you worry about giving me some official position. I wouldn't think of horning in on the hard working locals with ambition. I'm sure you have your heralds, bards, troubadours and so forth"

Hope moves to her liege's defense, sort of "Lady Dio, if I may call you such? I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of setting you up in the lilac room for now. "

"I... don't have a herald yet..."

"Or a bard..."

"We'll I'll help you find some if you like" she beams

"I.. yes..." Blink.

"And of course, Lady Dio is fine. Trust me, I've been called worse, thank you Steward. WHich way to the lilac room?"

"Clarence will show you"

Clarence is happy to. Dio gives Sparrow a hug "Off I go to the lilac room to put somethings away. OH This shall be such fun" And off she flounces

Once she's gone, the room spins a bit slower- and Hope says to her liege "Are you okay?"

"I am! Just... I.. Dio doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but she's accustomed to busy noble courts...."

The boggan can tell both how happy Sparrow is to see her friend, but also the concern that her friend might not be happy to stay...

"Oh dear. Well, she seems a determined young woman. If I might suggest? Allow her to stick around but make it clear you want her here as a friend and.. advisor... and you know she might be needed again by this Duchess or countess so you won't put oaths or ties?"

She nods, biting on her lip.

"Though it is nice to have someone a bit more... socially minded? She throws excellent parties."

"Mm would you say she's good with people, helping them have a fun time?"

"She is. Dio is... lollipops and champagne and heart shaped confetti."

"Well I just met her, but she seems quite nice, a bit ah.. more bubbles than liquid at times if you'll forgive, but still quite fun and pleasant. I think she might be very useful to you. Folks are around here , some of them, are scared of Sidhe. The warriors you have are wonderful for defense, and Otha's formidible, but maybe someone who is.. well, seemingly harmless as she is might... I don't know how they'll take her but I think they might not FEAR her and for a wilder or grump sidhe that's.. that's a good impression"

THAT causes the boggan to snerk

"Oh dear, apologies. That's such a wonderful image. That's what I mean. I think she might be a lovely go between, unofficially if need be. She might very much get bored with the place but in the short term she might do your hold some good, the people better, and.. I think cheer you up now and then."

"It is hard to be down with Dio nearby."

"Have you thought about the other possilbity to a lack of busy noble courts for her?"

"I fear she'll be bored, or lonely.."

"I mean, there's a chance, once the rovers clear the paths steady or we end up with other solid means for visitors to move with ease, you could end up with her arranging more than a few parties here"

"You may find yourself hitting sky just for a bit of privacy" Hope smiles

"I mean, I think it would be nice to be a bit more connected..."

"If only because that means it would be harder to hide any trouble for such a long time..."

"Well then, what do you think of my suggestions regarding your friend?" She asks

"I think I should welcome my friend for so long as she wishes to stay."
