And Jessica is soon clean as a whistle.

And bandaged and dressed and moving somewhat stiffly back to check on her people.

A thoughtful frown. “I don’t read much. If you think there is something that I should know though, I’ll read it. I listen, mostly. Or I try to.” A nod.

"Huh. Well what did that Balor tell you about? Because I'd double check most of what he talked to you about"

With a second round completed, Jessica finally finds a chair to ease into.

"But I think a primer on the Kiths and houses, what some of them have achieved might work" Siv says "Because it sounds like he told you what he wanted you to think about them not what htey're like" A pause "Oh man.I almost forgot. I saw a centaur. Maybe she was just a chimera. I mean, she had to be"

Hope says asks Jessica "We cleaned your armor and clothes while you bathed"

"Thank you." quietly, and then she lifts her voice just a bit "Siv, it was a centaur.... and I'm not sure it was a chimera. Just a feeling."

“A Centaur?” She has to think for a moment to place it. “You need to ask Hamm. Maybe it escaped from the observatory.”

Siv looks over "That ... wow. Sis, the golden road... you think it brought something here? I mean, this country is practically built for centaurs some of it"

"Who's ham?" Siv asks

"I might need some of that explained."

So she does! Grete tells them about the poor old fellow at the observatory who Sylvi and The Lady rescued back into a chimp pooka (she mislabeled him as a monkey, but please forgive) and how he... and Sylvi... made the constellations come to life...

“The one with the arrow. It was a Centaur.” She nods.

"Could be related" Siv says

“What was all of the fighting OVER? Did they try to invade us?”

"That's what I'd like to know. " Hope admits "was he airship that valuable?" She pours mroe coffee for the trolls

Jess is resting with her eyes shut, head back against the headrest. "My Skyhook people defended their airship from attack, and then from Thallain after it crashed." simply.

"they weren't trying to invade you, at least not that I saw" Siv says "I think they thought it was easy pickings and leearned otherwise" SHe nods to Grete "you brightwinders have gotten some muscle since I was last here"

She flexes an arm. “I’ve been working on chipping stones out of my coal.” Explanatory.

For a tween, she does have good muscle on her!

“Oh, you mean the new guys. They’re okay too.” A nod.

Siv checks the muscle "Hey, that coal chipping is paying off. You're no limp noodle"

“Us Wichtel’s are built strong. Like Trolls kinda, if squished down to boggan size.”

She looks at Siv’s sword, and looks at her own tiny hobbyist rock pick/hammer. “Do you think I could learn to fight too?”

“Not with a toothpick like that.. no offense, it’s pretty and all, but I’d be afraid of snapping it.”

Jessica has her injured leg up on an ottoman.

Siv nods "No offense taken... you might want something with omph like my sister's maul I.. oh. wait.." She gets her phone ou, and does a search then "Something like this?"

“Ooooooooooooooo. That looks USEFUL.”

"Kind of a polish war hammer I think..see both sides can be used to to hurt.. the pick/sabre sidee slash or impale, and the hammer crush. Itt's a bit slower than some weapons but versatile " Siv looks her over "You want one?"

Hope looks alarmed "She's a CHILDLING"

Siv says "Oh' Embarrassed, "I am so thoughtless" She looks at Grete "Do you want one childling sized?"

“Yes ma’am - Sir, Lady, Captain!” A nod!

To Hope she says, “If I’m ever caught in a cave in, I’ll get out MUCH faster if I have a good pickaxe.”

Or in a dungeon. She thinks, but doesn’t feel needs to be added.

Siv says "You know? I'll see what I can do"

"Is your sister always like this?" Hope mutters to Jessica

“I’m good for it, honest. You just ask Miss Sylvi.”

"Sadly, yes." without opening her eyes.

Hope sighs "Well, now the idea's in her head" Clearly the 'her' in this case is Grete

"I don't have to ask Miss Sylvi" Siv says "Sparrow told me a little about you. Said you were a good person who put up wit ha lot. I trust you"

Eyes widen. “Lady Sparrow said so?” Straightening up, and redoubling her effort on the armor cleaning. “I mean, sure she would. I’m her Wichtel Consult after all.” But her cheeks are a little pink, unused to compliments.

"Of course" Siv says nodding somberly "And she's lucky you're helping." She says "Oh that's enough on the armor but thanks. " She takes a look at it

Hope moves and tends to the people with great care

When she reaches Jessica, she sees the troll has fallen asleep where she sits.

Hope smiles "your sister is very dedicated." to Siv

"Yeah" Siv says "Shes' annoyingly awesome" but a fond look

The armour looks good! Grete may not be experienced, but when she starts work on something, she sees it through.
