"I don't work for you" Pepper smiles "And Siv's my friend."

"Ha hah de ha" Siv says winsomely

"Telling mom and dad." she warns.

"Tell them what, that you tried tto give me a hand wrapping the size of your thigh?" Humph she says

"Are we done here??"

Pepper shakes her head and wraps the hand "We're done. tthis way the both of you," She adds "Please" Amused

Jess hefts her maul and checks on her people as they head out; she can carry someone if needed.

Siv grabs someone with her good arm and helps one of the wounded along

And they all head towards tthe grand hold that is now the heart of Brightwinds

Jess helps out too. Meanwhile, the nockers who can make the trip, and their prize, are helped back to Skyhook.

And Sparrow hears "they've arrived, my liege!"

And a steward greets the Countess with a bow "Countess. Please, I'm Hope..ah steward here. We've never had a visitor of your rank before so for give me if I stumble"

“What’s happening?! Is it an ambush?!” Grete has her small rock hammer in hand as she skids around a corner.

"Hope. Pleased to meet you. I prefer not to stand on rank if you don't mind. Lady Sparrow is the ruler here."

Siv sees Grete come in "Hey."

Hope says "Grete, everything is fine. These folks ah, they had an airship crash and needed help. " She nods to Jessica "Well, should I call you Jessica then?"

"That suits me. We have some wounded, if there's a corner.....?"

“A crash? They need help?” She straightens up, sticking her hammer into her overall pocket. Then her eyes narrow a bit. “That’s not a Countess, that’s a TROLL. Is someone trying to trick you, Hope?”

A glance at Siv. She knows that Lady Sparrow trusts Siv, but...

Siv covers a smile

"There are trolls with titles above knight" Hope says "this way, please, Jessica. We had it prepared for you in advance when we heard" She motions and leads them to a room with low and clean beds and clean supplies

"Thank you." She sees her people settled first. "Is the Baroness available? I'd like to make my manners."

“But....” She trails off, and just looks vaguely upset. The unspoken, “but The Baron told me...” is starting to feel like a bad taste in her mouth. Grete sets her chin instead and marches after Hope, determined to help out.

"I think the baroness is occupied at the moment but she's got word"

"You fought well......" Jess says to one, and to another "That's just a scratch, I should have sent you with the escort."

Siv whispers to Grete "No shame in not knowing something, shame is in not learning. Trust me. I'm her sister and sometimes I can't believe she's a countess either but she earned it"

"Thank you." for the answer. "You rest for a bit, we'll get you home......... Well fought, well fought.......... Siv, take a seat, rest." not ungently.

Her men nod and heed.

Hope says "Would either of you like a bath? Obviously you'll want to lift your leg or the like out of the water but we have a troll sized tub"

Grete nods to Siv, and eyes her wound. “Does that hurt?”

"That sounds good, in a bit. There are others with greater need."

"Little bit" Siv says "But all the fingers are still attached so I'll be okay."

A nod! Grete approves of her toughness! “How do I help?” She asks the Knight quietly. “Without getting in Miss Hope’s way?”

Siv ponders "Not afraid of work are ye? " Approving "You got anything I can use to clean my weapon and armor? I'd be obliged"

Jess visits every single one of the wounded, no matter where they are from.

Hope sees to baths and such for those who have recovered. Ohter boggans helping

And Clarence appears with Coffee somehow knowing how she (Jessica) likes it.

A nod, and she goes to find rags and buckets and cleaning supplies. She may need a little direction on HOW to do it - really, has the girl never held a sponge before? But she is not UNWILLING, nor incapable, and only needs to be shown once how to do a thing before working without complaint.

Siv seems to notice this, and remembering Kerris' example, tthanks her, and then gently shows her without making it sound like a correction "the way I was told how to do this when I was your age was..."

And Hope says "Jessica.. your bath is ready"

"I.... yes. Ok." Everyone is settled and set up, tended to.... so Jessica follows Hope.

Grete confides to Siv as she rinses out a rag and tackles another bloody spot... “I hate how the Baron still makes me feel stupid. Even though he’s gone it’s like he’s still making things hard.” Frowning. Oh, here is a spot of rust! Distracted, she admires how the iron oxide affects the edges of the steel, before finding a bit of sandpaper to remove it.

And Jessica gets lead to a nice tub, and she is tended to.

Siv says "He might make you feel stupid, but you aren't really stupid. You're misinformed on some things, but that's on his lies or so it seems to me. Actually, the fact you're trying to get his nonsense out of you and get the straight dope makes you pretty smart in my book"

Jessica needs a minimum of tending and can get herself in the tub, thank you.

They actually seem to respect that... this is not a Fiona hold after all

A sigh. “I’ll try asking Ashlee and Irene for help. Stew is nice, but I don’t understand him that good.”

"Stew's the pook right?" Siv asks "I barely understand them either sometimes."

“He’s nice, though. And he reads ALL THE TIME, so he’s got to be smart.” A nod.
