Pepper shrugs "Mostly I came here to be a thane, but glad you like the cooking. "

"Can I ask what kith are you?" Pepper asks "Never seen the like"

"Didn't you have a cook? Or a maid? Or a butler?" Surprised, to Sparrow. "I thought all Sidhe picked... comfortable folk."

A bit blunt herself

"Sometimes it's nice to have comfort food." She eats another fry.

"Oh, well.. I'm Autumn, so we don't pick. We're changelings."

And she gives a bow to Pepper, hearing 'Thane'. Polite enough. "I'm a Wichtel. I'm Lady Sparrow's Wichtel Consult in fact." Proud. No need to mention that she's the only one around.

"Really? You're not foolin?" Unsure. A glance at Hope. "I never heard of those."

A shrug. "Ken me, you'll see it. Half human."

She frowns, angry for a moment.

"He never said there were other kinds." A mutter. But it fades after a moment. No use in being mad at something beyond reach of your vengeance.

"I feel like he left us... stupid on purpose. I don't like feeling like a, a moron." Scowl fading as she tries the fries.

"There aren't as many of us - most Sidhe left for Arcadia. A lot that stayed died before they learned the Way. It's not stupid to not know something - there's always new things to learn."

Chomp, chomp on the fries.

And she does discretely ken Sparrow - though she can likely feel the feathery tickle of the attention. Huh. It's true... whaddayaknow.

Pepper blinks at the bow but listens to the rest

Hope nods "Turns out you and the Baroness are both rare kinds"

To Pepper, she remarks, "From what I was told, most every wichtel left when Harksson took over. I had a mentor for a bit when I fledged, but the the Baron took me and made him leave." Frowning. "Some might come back now. Maybe they'll hear about the new... everything."

Tyrnog Redfang nods "Witchtels are vengeful folk. " the old troll chews on his own bison burger with gusto

"And it ain't good to simmer all angry against someone you can't touch. Makes you all sick inside." A nod.

"I hope others come back."

"So, anyways - yes, before I was at Earth Runes, I was living on my own in Kansas City. I don't know if any folks here know about that place..."

"Firnost " Pepper says "I know about Firnost"

Redfang grins

"Yup, Firnost."

"I didn't fit anywhere else, but every misfit can find haven there. Oh, I was annoyed by the sidhe that would go there, sidhe that had holds, but just wanted to slum and sleep around."

Apparently, Ladybird smelled burgers and has brought Yuri with her. Sparrow is a known quantity, so the lab tries first by laying a soft chin on Grete's knee.

Catir comes in, as does Stew.

Yuri tries Hope! Sad hungry puppy!

"Ooo oh my" Hope says "You wouldn't want this, peppers are on it"

"What. Is THAT." Eyeing the puffball curiously.

Oh... a chin! A fry offered without hesitation.

Snap snarf gulp. Wag

"That's Yuri." Catir says "He's a Russian Bear dog. Fae blooded"

Yuri tries BIG SAD EYES. Ladybird has taught him well.

"Are you sure he's not just a bear?" Another fry, but... they are very good, so the next few go into Grete's mouth. "Want half a burger, Stew? Or a whole one. I think there's plenty."

"You don't have to answer, just take some." She offers - she is learning about Pooka!

Grete is working through her burger, but as solid as she is, she's still not very large.

"He was a gift from Sergei of EarthRunes - they're trained to be guardians."

Stew says "Woo Ratburger!"

Ladybird could help! Tail-thump.

"Oh, Ladybird, don't be a mooch."

Redfang smiles a bit, but true troll fashion is quiet while others talk

"Oh I best tell the knights about dinner" Hope says

"Oh yes, please, Hope."

Hope is no use. Perhaps Caitir will feed a poor, starving Bear-Dog pup.

And Hope rises to go...
