Little Joe looks for the Baroness

Sparrow is in her study!

"Baroness Sparrow? " Little Joe says "I want to talk" Blunt

"Hello, Little Joe. Please, come in. What's up?"

"I met a warrior, a troll. He's here to help. You should take him"

"Oh? Is he here? I would like to meet him. You sound very sure."

"He's Redfang" As if that explains something

"Redfang?"

"Yes. I shall get him , he's waiting. He traveled soon as the sweet faced one spoke, Sylvi"

"Should I... know the name?"

"Oh. Maybe not. You're not a troll. "

"I'm afraid not. I see your enthusiasm, but I do not know the story."

"Tyrnog Redfang was a veteran of the Accordance War. He was not called the Redfang then. ..that came when he saved his enemies from the Dragon"

"The Dragon?"

"Yes... a dragon" A nod.

"He sounds like a testament to Dagda."

"He protected prisoners.. sidhe childlings.. that he was going to turn over to their own under a banner of truce for he did not keep children. When the dragon came .. it wanted the children. Tyrnog and his squad fought and died to protect them. He was the last troll standing.. his weapon torn from him, his armor shredded. But he had knocked loose a tooth from the Dragon's mouth, and as the wounded dragon tried once more to kill the childling, Tyrnog grabbed that fang, and using it like a weapon, shoved it into the dragon who was it's source, driving the fang in between the scales and finding the dragon's heart. .. that is why they call him Redfang."

Blink.

"That.... wow."

"You should take him" Little Joe says

"I see why you say that, yes."

"I would still like to meet him - and I am a sidhe, and a Liam. He might not wish to serve under me."

"I think he knows. I will get him" A nod

And Little Joe trundles off

Sparrow gets coffee ready. Always wise, with trolls.

Tyrnog Redfang is not the biggest troll she's seen (That's probably Little Joe) and she might have seen older, but damn the phrase 'tough piece of gristle' was probably inspired by a man very much like Tyrnog. the Greybeard might surprise her by bowing. Interesting for one who was on the rebel side of the war. "Baroness Sparrow, they tell me you are called. I am Tyrnog Redfang" he gives a grin, "I am old, scarred, and beyond gray in the beard. I am told there is a good cause to fight for, and I have one last good fight in me before the wheel claims me. If you will have me, that last good fight will be used for Brightwinds."

There appears to be little negotiation on her part needed.

"Little Joe told me some of you. And Sylvi, I think, told you of this place - the people here are good, and worthy of protection. We are still finding those who were allowed to forget." She pauses. "I am Liam, I am sure you can feel that."

"Was a time I considered all sidhe Oathbroken, Baroness. All houses. Even the Scathach who stayed.. they stayed, but they didn't want to lead. They abandoned their posts too. ..they just hid like the rest of us while doing it. I was young. Angry. And worse, unforgiving. It is easy to be unforgiving when you are young and you feel like your mistakes are few. When one gets older, one collects mistakes like wrinkles and scars. I learned to forgive when I realized one day I might want forgiveness for myself" He blinks as coffee is offered by Clarence, and takes it "Thank you"

"There is wisdom in that. I would have you, yes - you defended children, even the children of your enemies. And if I cannot defend this Barony, I fear what will happen to our childlings, here. What has already happened to them is bad enough."

"Yes. Sylvi Said as much. You were wise to send that one out. She is why I, and those who came with me, are willing to serve here I think."

"Sylvi Silver-tongue." She nods.

"Do you have questions of me?"

"Yeah. Where do you want me to work as your Thane. " he swigs the coffee, "And when's dinner?"

A slip of a smile on his gruff face

She smiles back, and it's like a gift. "Well, we've had incidents in town - the Rovers seemed to have scared the Balor off the trods for the time being. I must warn you - the locals are wary of trolls, there were many sworn to Harkson, who enforced his rule. Little Joe, who you met, was imprisoned for refusing to abandon his code."

"I think you will prove yourself quickly enough. As for dinner - I think it's soon. Our household is small, but growing. You can meet the others."

"Well, sounds like I need to walk the streets and show folks Little Joe isn't alone in trolls that do the right thing, but you put me in any post you want. Looking forward to meeting the others. I'll tell those that came with me we're welcome here. I told them that even if Only I got a thane position I'd look out for them. " A shrug "Kids. you know?"

The way he says Kids, she's pretty sure they're grown men and women

Her mouth tugs to the side in a lopsided smile and her green eyes sparkle. "I'm not sure if I do, but I'll take your word for it."

"You'll meet them " he says "See what you think. But, point is... you wanted thanes. You've got them if you want them."

"Excellent. We're working on getting the old Baron's house set up - there is a lot fo room in the hold, but folks will need a place to cycle out and sleep off bedlam."

"Shit," the man says "I can set up a tent if it comes to that. Just got to worry for the wildlife." A nod

"This is a nice place for camping - not as hot as you'd think, thanks to the mountains. But compared to Apples?"

"Warm " A nod

"So bring your coffee, let's visit the kitchen and see if the boggans don't throw me out."

"Ha. Fine by me" He motions her to lead the way

She does!

"Now, Hope and Clarence are the leaders, so to speak, of the boggans... but oh, Marybelle makes the best sweet tea..."
