"A deep honor" Clarence beams and bows several times

"Hello, Clarence," Coradel says with a nod, and then a bright smile for Siv. "Lady Captain, the victorious!"

"Clarence. Thank you for taking such good care of Derynwydd. Lady Captain, good to see you."

"Oh , it's the Baroness who takes care of us, Lord." Clarence insists "We jus tthought folks would eat in the dining hall"

Siv says with a bright smile "SEE, that's what I was missing at the out post. Praise for me hungry ego." She has her midsection wrapped in fresh bandages and that bow twinged her a little

"Oh, sit, please...or perhaps we should take your meal out of this good man's kitchen, and we can all sit and talk together."

Coradel gestures in the direction that Clarence has been trying to point them.

"May I carry your things, Lady Captain?"

"Sorry, Clarence! Didn't mean to invade!" Oh, that smile.

Clarence blushes "oh for you anything.."

Coradel takes one of Siv's arms companionably. "Who tagged you, and how?"

August slips away from Coradel's side to gather Siv's food.

Siv smiles at the Baron "if you would? I seem to be seized by your wife most companionably." She says "Oh and I should report.. Baroness Sparrow I told Sir Dubh, but the Rovers are in place along with a few others. There was a wave of Chimerical warriors. ON the silver. Balor work I'm sure... but we crushed them. I did get a spear in my gut. I'm on the mend"

"Damn Balor..."

The Baron murmurs thanks to Clarence as he's offered a tray for the food.

"Good victory, but those Balor need to learn that they cannot be victorious that way."

Uh-oh...August and Sparrow both know that tone. Coradel might be getting an idea of attending to the matter herself.

August keeps his expression bland and unreadable.

"Ahem. Baroness Coradel. " Lady Captain Siv says "I already called DIBS if the Baroness of Brightwinds approves of my plans. See, I learned a bit"

"Oh." Miffed disappointment, but only briefly.

August leads them (or herds them?) to the dining room and sets up Siv's place.

Oh, it's definitely herding.

Coradel helps Siv get settled, then asks, "And what are these plans?"

Siv looks amused "I can tell you were raised by an Eiluned." Oh cheeky

"Guilty as charged, and happily so!"

August gets Deryn's chair for her.

The dinning room is glorious

"Oh, Derynwydd...this is lovely!"

"It's a bit much... but yes..."

"Well," Siv says "If Baroness Sparrow doesn't mind me sharing?"

"You are almost obliged to host events here!"

Was that a cheer from the kitchen staff?

"Please..."

And surely August holds a chair for Coradel to settle in.

He surely does!

"The warriors were not bright, and It occurred to me I could do more good faking out a prisoner than anything so I disguised myself as Balor... and 'freed one' and followed it back to it's master's home. Injured as I was...I didn't dare intrude deeper... but I have the location the balors who did it are holding up at. And the name. Alas, just attacking them in turn would violate demense and they'd deny knowing about it, but it would help you know where to put baricades and Sylvi's father might be able to close that section of the trods and frustrate them"

"Yes?"

"Wel, it's your choice. But apparently .. Modesto California has a balor hold"

August seats himself, and listens.

"And you accuse me of being Eiluned-raised. You are terribly sneaky, Lady Captain." Said with deep admiration.

"Joy. So yes, if we can make it harder for them to get here... we don't hav emuch by way of trods, at least."

"TWas a form of juvenile rebellion I turned into a profession, Baroness Coradel, thank you"

"I'm sorry, Baroness Derrywynd. I thought this would be good News of a sort?" Siv says

"It is!"

"Agreed! We know where the quarry is."

"Now a matter of luring them to a spot where demesne is not an issue."

"Oh good. Thought I was losing me touch. In truth, tis Sylvi who deserves the credit for much of this. She was one who had the brains to make sure one of us backed up the outpost, and then called attention to the Rovers to help out and talk to the new Baroness of Brightwind" She smiles at Sparrow "Oh you've done it to Hastien now you know?"
