Coradel takes up the bell and gives it a strong ring, supported with a "Hello?!"

Some foot steps "IS someone down in the dungeon?"

"How could we have done that, we haven't seen her yet?" Nonplussed.

"Is this Brightwind Barony?" August calls.

"We're here, yes, and we'd rather not be."

"Oh. oh my!" A woman bounces down the steps ... she's dressed like a Barista... and she's a boggan. "I'm SO sorry, we are still working on the .. it's an old fail safe. Second. Please, who am I talking to you?" SHe gets a key "you're not a Balor are you?"

"Awww" she says at the sign of the dog

Coradel can't tell whether to be offended or amused, and it shows on her expression. "Not hardly. I'm Baroness Coradel Truthbranch ap Fiona. This is my husband, Baron August Truthbranch ap Liam. And, of course, Ladybird," she nods to the dog.

"We have come to see Baroness Derynwydd." he adds with quiet pride.

"I rather hope she's mentioned us?" A wry look.

"Oh my.." the door is unlocked "Please come out. I'm Hope. I'm. ah Steward Pro Tem? Yes she's mentioned you"

"Thank you, Steward Hope." She exits the cell, then looks back at it with a frown. "That's an interesting first impression."

"An old fail safe." August murmurs, reminding "The holding was Balor."

"Yes, it's to keep anyone from coming in . Harkson was a controlling mmonster. Trods. Even flicker flashes.. oh that horrible man. I'm glad he's.. well I'm glad he's gone" She says "We believe the Baroness will be able to redirect it to a new location soon as the hold becomes more and more hers. Oh you should have seen it before. It was so.. well, grim. "

"Oh I forgot to bow" A blush, and.. fear? She does so

"Yes." The Baron says quietly. "We have seen Balor holds before."

He returns the bow.

"I suppose I can see the benefit..." she says of the secured trod. Then she returns the bow, easily.

She motions them up the stairs. "Please, follow me, lord and lady. I'm afraid I'm new to the job but I knwo enough to offer you food, drink, a bedroom if you wish?"

"Well, it sounds like you know the job well enough so far. Yes, to the room and perhaps the drink, but then we should really see the Baroness."

"Of course of course... " She moves along up stairs. "I've already sent word to the baroness , hopefully Stew can find her"

"Find her? I suppose she is busy."

August has a quiet smile on his lips as he crouches and says "Ladybird. Find Sparrow."

"Oh I mean she might be in the..."

And Ladybird is off!

"Oh, of course," Coradel smiles at August.

He offers his arm to escort her as they follow the dog.

A hoooowwllllllllll of joy, and laughter.

Who is racing away, so it might be less of an escort and more of a dash.

"Well I ..guess follow that dog" Hope looks amused now

Coradel laughs as she takes August's arm and hurries with him to follow the sounds of joyful reunion.

August is actually -smiling- as they race.

Sparrow is sitting on the floor, and Ladybird is alternating between licking the sidhe's face, and zooming around the room.

"Looks like Ladybird has found her quarry!" Coradel laughs as the enter the room.

"Cora! August! Hello!" Sparrow grins, feathers happily fluffed.

Ladybird bumps Cora, and August - WagWagWag, look!

"Good girl." August tells Ladybird.

And she runs back to Sparrow. "Ladybird, it's okay! Yes, hello!"

HOpe says "I guess I'll get that food and drinks now. " She bows to Sparrow "Baroness, your parents are here to see you"

"Thank you, Hope!"

The grand hall is well on its way of being wiped of Balor traces - dark stone fading into creamy marble, fell banners replaces with silver oaks and truthbranch lanterns...

Coradel approaches Sparrow and gives her a deep curtsy. "Baroness," she says with her most formal tone.

"Baroness." She returns, with a merry smile.
