"You know, I bet it gets dark enough her to see meteor showers..."

"That's... actual moon dust?"

A wink "Just a pinch... but oh, how I love to pinch it"

"It's not from the '69 moon shot, is it?"

“Trade you for it??”

"Alas, that one giant leap was done... and.." A blink at the girl "Trade me for dust from the MOON? Do you have dust from another moon? Do you have Sheri Moon wearing a bikini somewhere nearby? No trading"

"I think it's probably best if he keep it safe here, Grete," Sylvi says.

"She loves rocks" Hope says, but does not mention the girl's relation

"Ham, Hope was telling us about some of the chimera, and what happened to them. I'm so sorry."

At that, the Chimp Pooka's face saddens again "Oh well, eggs, omelets.. assholes who don't know how to cook." A sigh "The.. the little winged pony friendship os magic star constellation used to fly... right there" He points up

"A pegasus?"

She hears about the loss and her expression saddens. “Mr. Ham, Earth is a planet too. You should put this one on display.” Offering him one of the rocks she found, um. On the road out front, in fact.

Her wings stretch and she looks up.

Perhaps a nice bit of shale.

A grin at Grete's offering. "And...maybe at some point they'll return, or new ones will come." She looks around. "Do many mortals visit? Dreamers?"

Nothing is there, could be a pooka lie, or.. perhaps that rather glamourless space once had a chimera dancing, and now? it is no more

It does come with a bit of her own glamor in it. Tingly. She’s not BRIMMING as a childling should be, but definitely in better shape than the poor man.

Then she squints up, trying to see what he pointed out.

And the pooka takes the stone offered...

"Well, yes, the Earth is a most extraordinary planet and.."

the bit of glamour in it flashes.. and he revives but ..well, some banality is permanent but he is energized "Oh I'll treasure this stone like the diamond it is" He assures

“Sorry that he done you wrong.” She adds, seriously.

"Isn't there a pegasus set in the stars?"

"Yeah, I think there is. A constellation."

"Ham? Do you know anything of it?"

"Me three" Ham says "But, hey, Disco lives. One of these things is not like the other"

"Yes yes... I'm an janitor, I know all about the stars." A wink and he shows a display... the Chimera is gone, but the real thing? He moves the telescope and shows them

"Sometimes, I wonder about the greeks..."

"Like, what it was like when we were easier for them to see?"

“I see a box....”

“Kinda?”

"See, there are his wings..."

"I am biased, I know."

Sylvi laughs about the wings.

Squinting from Sparrow to the dots and back.

“Hmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaybe.”

Hope says "oh, you're going to love star watching here. Our sky si..well, there's a reason for the observatory"

She looks at Ham and bites her lip a moment before asking, "Mr. Ham...or is it Dr. Ham?...I'd like to try something to help out, if you'd let me?"

"Yes" he says

She nods, then...pauses. "Um...oh, crap, I'm not sure whether you just gave me permission or not. So...if you are, I just need something to work with, something that you'd be willing to drink."

She looks at Sylvi, curious.

"Or, actually...I guess I could do it without that..." She looks to Sparrow. "I sometimes have trouble translating pooka."

"Is... is it Spring? I know Rivervale is strong in healing magics, though I am not practiced in them myself..."

"Yes. I want to see if I can give this place a boost, renew it a bit. I'm not much good with working on places, though, so I'd have to help you directly," she directs the end of that to Ham.

He gets a juicy squirt thing and offers it

"Cool...okay..." She gets a kind of listening expression, then blinks. "Um...I know it's a big ask, but could we put a single speck of that moon dust in here? That would be a major boost, I think."

"What?" His eyes widen

Grete looks envious. But... she gets it.

"Sylvi.. well, you have no reason to trust me, or her, I know. But I believe she is trying to do something very good for you."
