The rickety plane looks ready to fall apart

"I think this is going to explode" Earl yells as the plane shudders

"All the more reason to jump out of it!" Bachdion grins!

"How did I get into this?" Sir Earl asks

"If I recall, you sold out for 3 rare books being purchased... you whore you" The old goat grins

"Fiona.." Earl grumbles as the door opens fully and looks at Bachdion then looks down screwing up courage "Jump, count to fiive.. pull.. Jump...count to five, pull..wait" He realizes "I can just caste Windrunner first and..."

"Oh where's the fun in that?" Bachdion pushes the troll out of the plane

"You son of a biiiiiiiiitch..." Earl calls out

"Whee!" Bachdion laughs like a childling and follows

Meanwhile, in the freehold itself. Sir Dubh comes up "Baroness? "

"Yes, Gray?"

"We have reports of two figures who have flown OVER The hold... the plane ahs moved on, but hte figures are skydiving far too close to us . Glamour is involved we suspect. Do you wish us to shoot them down? We do have a ballista.. it could be a balor attack, though if it is.. it's tactically foolish"

"Can we... oh, hell, I fly." She rises and grabs her rapier. "I'll see what it is."

"If it's an attack, you'll be alone" Dubh says worriedly "I.. are you sure?"

Out the window she can see the dots of two chutes

"Well, if they are skydiving, I've got a maneuverability advantage."

She buckles on her sword.

"Of course' He nods "Godspeed"

She steps out onto the balcony... spreads her wings... and leaps!

The winds rise under her wings and she uses them with the grace swans would envy. Up and up she goes. She can see them now...

a screaming troll who looks familiar

a laughing satyr.. who.. also looks famliar. Neither has weapons drawn

She circles close, and laughs.

Earl looks up "Sparrow?"

Bachdion grins "Speak of the angel and she will appear! "

She tips a salute, waves, and curves back towards the hold.

Looks like Little Joe is loading a rusty Ballista just in case

And Earl angles clumsily but lines up right

And Bachdion does so with more practiced ease. he's done this before

"They're friends, Joe!" She calls out as she lands.

Little Joe grunts and doesn't draw the huge as string

And Earl flies in.. and slams on the ledge. He catches himself with a groan, but he is there.. kind of tangled in his cute on the side

"From home. Oh dear..." She jogs over to give Earl a hand up.

Earl groans and gets a hand up "Thank you"

Bachdion just cuts chute and rolls smoothly to his hooves

When Earl gets on his feet, he looks UP and sees Little Joe.. he's used to not being the tallest troll but damn

"Little Joe, this is Sir Earl and Sir Bachdion. Of Earth Runes." Bachdion gets a hug.

Bachdion hugs back "You look radiant, Sparrow"

"Well, it's the sudden summer." She grins.

"My lady!" Hope comes into the room with a chimerical shot gun. On the side of it are etched the words 'One Barrel For Each Amendment' and on the other 'I ❤️ Texas'' "Who. are we being invaded?"

"No, no - friendly visitors!"
