"So you're sayinng we turn the garage into a great room for Egon..." Karel considers after his wife has looked the place over as much as she can from the exterior. "Upstairs rooms for Les and Amity..."

"Probably needs rewired. Shame."

"Opportunity!" Nesa claps her hands together, "Son, you're gonna eat dome drywall before this is done."

Les perks up at that, "yeah?"

Sally Mae is on the phone, negotiating an area she didn't think she would be

Egon grins "And it's got a yard for me and that tree sis can have a tree house in."

"Can we look inside? Gotta make sure it's not haunted."

Sally Mae hangs up "We can... look inside. It was owned by an elderly couple, one passed away, the other is in a nursing home. It got neglected and fell out of code. It is DEFINITELY a fixer upper," She says and reaches under a bedgraggled mat that says "HOME HEART FAMILY" on it.

And Sally Mae opens it up slowly, and goes in first, while not a full troll, she has SOME protective instincts.

This does not prevent a bird from shooting by in an avian form should a certain Amity grow impatient.

"Hellooooo ghosts?"

For a moment, it seems a strange mist threatens to form and a voice speaks ,a high pitched whisper, "Who darest come to the griege house where the McGillicudy glares across the green? ooooo"

Try as she might, Amity cannot tell where the whisper is coming from.

Sally Mae however ruins everything by being perceptive, "Lily, is that you?"

"Grraaayyyy-age. Greige. But not grieeeege. I before e except when it isn't."

A soft hurumph, then a lie "certainly not, I am the ghost of dignified taste. I died here long ago" Lily says.

"Well, Heebie Jeebie," Mrs. Novak says "I am the very living LIGHT of blinding tech, turn off the mist or I turn on the high beam."

Amity looks for the whisperer, and, finding her, waves.

Lily strikes a dramtic pose as if she might lunge for the throat of an innocent victim, then.. .she wiggles her fingers in a hello.

And steps out, "No need to ruin things with too much light..." She looks up at Sally Mae, "You're SELLING this place?"

"Trying to," Sally Mae says to the childling, then to the Novak family "This is Lily, something of a precocious childling."

"We know the type," Karel smiles looking at his own childlings.

"Is it really precocious if it's all childlings, though? Would it just be cocious?"

"Do wilders become postcocious?"

"Possibly, especially the boys," Lily actually considers it.

"Sexism, so ugly," Egon sighs, "WHen will the oppression stop?"

"With sisters probably never," Karel nods to his youngest with amusement.

"I am no sister of his, Sir, I am merely sister adjacent," Lily corrects.

"Les is totally postercallafragilisticexpilallacocious."

Lily looks mildly amused, only mildling, too much amusement only encourages pooka. IT is known.

Sally Mae tries to get it back on track "Let's check this place out carefully and see what's what. Lily, don't suppose you could warn us of any places that might be ready to fall apart in here?"

Lily considers, "Could I?" She muses it over, "Well, yes one COULD." She looks to Amity "it might not cause YOUR death due to your flying. So you would live on, grieving ...a true mourning dove."

"Oh no, I'm not a dove."

"SHe's a PIDGE!" Egon declares, but is now putting his hooves down carefully.

Sally Mae sighs, "Lily... I CAN live some food to decay just for you at the lodge."

"Do you like dumpster diving?" Head tilt. "Raccoons do."

"that is Rikki's domain," A hrumph from Lily "That said, the crawlspace under the house is QUITE full of webs, alast mostly cob and the spiders have fled."

They investigate the house as Lily shares a bit more information.

Amity has to open things, and look under things, and poke things, and climb things....

Many of the old dolls, fosilized bugs and other things have been gleaned, but this is not to sayy there is nothing that might appeal to a pooka

Pooka and sluagh do have diverse tastes, after all.

She finds more than one thing... a Chimerical easter egg that was never found and oddly has not rotted and apparently won't...

and a Kazoo that h as a faint spark o f magic in it.

A soft coo and she cradles the egg with both hands. (The kazoo is secreted away into a pocket. For later.)

The egg feels warm!

Lily sighs as the house she had used as a haven will surely soon be in Nocker colors

Amity slips away to check upstairs - bedrooms are important!

There are two up there, and the attic could be turned into one maybe..
