"Oh, Etsie is another Satyr." Giving the new fledge a quick description of the old rocker chick.

No embarrassment here, Piper grins and acknowledges Dagmar's praise "I did a few small tours, just bars and local venues, before the wee ones." A MANLY belch from the "wee one" she is holding now.

"But then again, I'm just a good singer, we're a dime a dozen in the real world. Just think of how many seasons of American Idol there have been... now, DAGMAR here, did you know that she once fought off an entire hoard of spider demons with her pole-axy thing?"

The belch makes Serenity laugh

"Man, that kid has lungs..."

THAT gets a huge smile from Piper. "You think so?"

"Oh yeah. Maybe he'll learn to yodel." A shy grin at the tiny jest.

"Hey, Yodeling is a time-honored musical tradition. I love 'Sound of Music'!"

"I love that movie too" Serenity says

"Well, we do have goats to herd..."

"Ladi-odi-ladi-oda-lay-ee-OOO!" Piper gives a musical yodel.

"Damn, Piper!"

"That was good" She looks surprised

"Glad to hear I haven't lost my touch." A grin. "Oh, shit. I was supposed to find a sitter for Valr and get back to take Franki from Jonas so he could get to his second shift!" A curse, then a sly look over at the two. "Say, what're you up to right now?"

A hunted look "Feels like a trap" She says in a stage whisper to Dagmar

"Nope, it means we get baby. Hold this." She hands over her gear to Serenity, in order to offer her arms out for Valr.

Serenity takes the gear

"You or an oathmate picking him up, or do we have a drop-off time?"

Then she adds "Want us to take Franki too? With Dagmar and me working on it, we could handle two." She may regret this but it seems a way to help pay these folks back

The way that Piper hefts him over, he seems to weigh a thousand pounds to her, but he's LIGHT to Dagmar! "You really mean it? Then head on over, Jonas is waiting to be relieved, and I have to get to my 5pm class over at Goldfinch bottles are in the fridge I'll be home by 8 no idea where Siv is byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

She doesn't FLEE, that would seem unmotherly of her... but Piper does take off at a good clip after handing over the baby and a diaper bag to Serenity!

A nod then "I mean it" She takes the bags and commits

Only then does she look at Dagmar "uhm sorry, you volunteered for one, and I made it so WE Have two. Still going to be okay wit hthat or do I face 'franki' alone?"

"Well, two isn't that bad. They're still pretty small. God, if they were toddlers..."

"Ughh" And the two head off to also pick up franki. Piper has... freeish time!
