She opens the door. “Come in… sorry for the short notice…” she fills Basil in.

Basil listens "Holy shit."

"YEah.. so you want me to go after Siv or stay here and guard you guys for a bit or just patrol around the apartment?" Basil inquires

Piper looks to Jonas. “What do you think?”

“I’m not sure how Rikki got away without them finishing the job. They might still be around…”

Jonas looks torn. Piper can see his features look from Piper, to the door Siv went thorugh, back to Piper, then her belly

That decides her. “Will you patrol to make sure it’s safe for everyone around here?”

"Sure thing... I'll get Dirk on the horn too" Basil says "Peacekeepr or whatever IS official"

She gives him a kiss on the cheek. “You’re the best, Baz.”

"Getting there, getting there" Basil says "Hey, not to wrap you in cotton, but even other satyrs are feeling protective of you right now. So fight that urge to charge off and do your own sherlock?"

Sigh. “I’m letting Siv have first crack at our, I promise.”

Basil nods "Good cousin." A smile, and he goes
