"Yeah, that drink, that saved your life? It doesn't heal everything "Lola explains "Think of taking you from critical care to stable with a few days worth of restoration."

“Lola, thank you. I’ll take care of cleaning the carpet.” She eyes it, “maybe I’ll get someone to come clean it. For now, Rikki, first order is getting you healed. THEN I’m gonna find who did to you, and they’ll wish they got off so lightly. C’mon, you’re coming with me.”

Rikki rises slowly "Sure thing boss"

“I owe you one.” Earnestly to Lola. “Rikki does too, right?” A very soft nudge to the pooka.

"Ill buy you a drink" Rikki nods

"Just ..clean carpet, okay?" Lola says taking the flask back

She nods and supports Rikki as she leads her back to Piper and co’s apartment.

Rikki goes with her, "Nice place. Wish I had one like it" a smirk

As they come in, Jonas looks up "Rikki?"

Piper probably looks a sight with blood as well. “I don’t know what happened, but she was bleeding out from a gut wound on the roof in critter mode. We got the wound sealed up at least, but…” she looks up at her trolls. “I’m not sure if someone came after a WOMAN or a RACCOON, and neither thought is very pleasing… it was a cut, I think? Not like she got hit by a car…”

"at the time, two tits were all the rage" Rikki says and gives Siv a glare "You didn't tell me your place came with assassins"

BLINK, and worried look to Siv! “Are you in some sort of trouble, love?”

"I didn't THINK so?" Siv says "Rikki, they thought you were me? We don't exactly wear the same shoes"

Rikki eyes Siv's feet "No, my sneakers come in women's sizes" Then before Siv or Piper can get huffy says "If only someone were capable of turning into raccoons, or pooka... with a spell?"

Siv stops "The assassin knew I take other forms? That.. .might explain it"

Piper is busy finding something for Rikki to change into, an old shirt of Siv’s that the satyr commandeered for sleepwear. “We should get that blood of the roof before someone freaks out…”

“Maybe a better boon is an armed guard so work doesn’t follow you home…” a worried look, concern, not placing blame.

Siv frowns "Tikki often does this, but he's out with Eden"

"Is it safe here?" She asks Siv, clearly worried.

"Yeah, gonna kick his mongoosey ass for not kungfuing for me" Rikki says

"It will be" Siv's jaw tightens "I promise ye that, Piper. RIkki, did ye get a hit in on the attacker? Blood, hair, that sort of thing?"

"I was a bit busy getting lacerated. I don't carry a Sword save for formal occaisions" Rikki throws up her hands

"Don't worry Rikki." Soothingly. "Maybe there are clues on the roof or in her apartment? Like, fingerprints?"

"I'll check it out" Siv says "Let me gather my things"

Jonas says "And if the assassin is still aorund?"

"It's okay if Rikki stays here for a bit, right?"

Rikki shrugs

"She can stay" Jonas sighs

"Will you stay with us?" To Jonas. "Siv is mighty on her own, but..."

"This is my line of work" Siv says "JOnas should stay to protect you two"

Jonas ssays "Or we could call in help. " Logical "Basil or Dirk?"

"I have Basil's number. Not Dirk's though."

She is bringing out her phone already to send a text asking her cuz to come by.

She frowns at Rikki, thoughtful. "Shoddy assassin if he.. she... didn't even bother to confirm their target! Sorry Rik."

Siv says 'Murder scene, running cold' ready to go

"Go, go!"

"NEAR murder" Rikki huffs "Unless I look worse than I thought?"

"Oh! Don't open the medicine cabinet bottom shelf." She warns Siv on the way out! "Unless you want a faceful of glitter. I snooped once.."

"NARC!" Rikki curses

Siv stops "Wait, glitter bomb? I wonder if... Rikki, you may have marked your assasin. Kithain or Kinain? Has to be able to see fae to be aware I shape shift"

"Achoo" Rikki says in answer

"What?" Siv asks

"You know, they have tales coming out of their backside?" Rikki says in frustration

"Eshu, got it" Siv says and races off to their old apartment

Piper gives Rikki a careful hug. “I’m so sorry you got caught up in this.”

"Rikki's a unisex name, just saying" Rikki jokes

Piper blinks, not getting the joke, but goes along with it as she helps Rikki settle into a comfy spot on the couch. “What a time for the Davidsons to be on a bonding trip. Maybe I need to try my hand at learning Primal…”

There's a knock on their door

A wary glance. “Who is it?”
