She nods to Basil, then starts listing suspicious topics: "Where people live? What their jobs are? Who's in charge of what?" A glare around the group, expecting others to smarten up.

Dirk says "I remind you, I OFFERED to clobber him!"

Piper treads water thoughtfully. "I guess that's kinda weird."

Linwood says "Well, I'm embarrassed"

"And I think I should have listened to you, Dirk," Sylvi says with a nod of validation.

Yoel huffs "You guys know my speech impediment... straight talk, not an option .Even questions come out wrong"

"Not fooling anybody here, now."

"Hey, Dirk..." she beckons him over. "Maybe you should escort him somewhere?"

'Uhm THAT Is a real thing..." Ramona points out about Pooka "The speech imepdiment I mean"

Sylvi looks at Ramona. "Yeah, but you and I both know that's not how it works. It doesn't make people ask how certain documents and records are stored, does it?"

"True" Ramona frowns

It definitely seems that while he might have a FEW Syjmapthizers, the majority is against Yoel

Dirk moves over and grabs Yoel "Come on..."

Yoel does not fight it.

"I was framed" The fish pooka mutters drily "It wasn't me, it was the one armed man"

"Oh, also...he's got a phone. Who wants to find out whether he's been recording conversations?"

"On it" Siv says taking it the hand with a look to Sylvi and she mouths 'I got connections'

"My hero," she says to Siv.

Piper murmurs for just Jonas's ears. "Even if he was gathering intel, there's nothing illegal about asking questions, is there? Even if he recorded - we're not at a freehold, so do they really have the right to haul him off and search his phone?"

She seems uncomfortable at the turn of events.

Jonas ponders this "Perhaps not... it could be argued though that he is bypassing the Chief's right of demense" Said soflty so just she can hear it "Not in the hold but the barony."

A shiver, "The water is getting chilly. Let's go find some towels."

Jonas nods and moves with her, then says "Advocate for him at the lodge if you feel this is over done. Or just talk to Sylvi in private. You and she are friends and this means something to you. YOu know what it is like to see a justice system gone too strong"

Siv nodded to Sylvi and went on, unaware one of her lovers is about to go Attica . HOpefully not FULL Attica. Never go full attica

Sylvi turns to the others. "Hey, everybody, sorry about that, but I think the party's over. I mean, feel free to hang out if you want, but I'm packing it in for the day." She definitely looks like her mood's been soured as she starts gathering things up.

Some nod, a few are okay to keep something of a party going... and Jordan says "Excess fireworks are being blasted at the park not four miles way"

Sylvi half-grins at Jordan. "See? Giving people something to be happy about." A wink.

"Getting RID of people" He counters

Piper rubs at an arm, wrapping herself in her towel. "I don't think I should get involved." She shakes her head to Jonas. "I get the feeling I'd just start a fight that can't be won."

Jonas tilts his head then says to Piper "I'm sorry then. I know it bothers you"

"I've learned to choose my battles. Wanna go watch the fireworks?" She says, attempting to recapture some of the earlier cheer.

Sylvi rolls her eyes at Jordan, then finishes gathering up things. Waving to folks, she starts to head to the Lodge... not a long walk from the lake.

Not at all

Jonas smiles "I'd like that, Piper. "

She beams at him. A text to Siv who may have followed Sylvi, letting her know where they'll be and she is welcome to join them later.

And Sam, Lupe and May by now might have already slipped way talking about movie plans and other things...

the party is over

or at least moved on.

Zane approaches Makala "Hey, remember me?"

"Um.." Makala looks at him "Nooo. " As she seems not just to have forgotten the brief slip of Ignorance, but who Zane is "Look, party is over and I don't hang out with guys I don't know alone" And she walks off

Da'an, you cheeky bitch Zane grouses

(Important after party fact) The Chilli Dogs were FANTASTIC... but anyone who ate one will find that their bowel movements for the next 24 hours will come out in random vibrant chromatic colors. There appears to be no other side effect, and no harm done.

Clearly, someone has a low sense of humor
