"Mmm maybe" He says "I still think folks are too darn optimistic. But then, that doesn't mean their jerks. I mean, would never call Connor a j erk"

"Good. Especially since I think Dagmar would crush you if you did."

A nervous look , indeed, more than is likely warranted "Yeah.well.." A bit of defiance " I couldn't say no to the kid and I won't apologize for it"

Her brow furrows with a bit of confusion. "Apologize for...?"

"Teaching him more dream craft and going adventuring in the Dreaming with him. He's about my age if you count years, and he's aching to do more but no one is letting him so I..." A blink "Wait... that's not what you're talking about with the crushing. Just the jerk part. You know what, Nevermind"

A blink. A couple of blinks. "Um. He's her squire. If you're training him in anything, you really should let her know. Like...a matter of courtesy, at least. And a safety matter. She needs to know what her squire can do in a pinch."

"Connor can tell her if he wants to" A shrug "He's teaching me too. He's been around"

Lupe has managed to corral both May and Sam into the lake. There is splashing!

A brow. "Well...I think you're setting yourself up for problems, there. But..." a shrug "...your call."

Sylvi looks over to the sound of splashing, and smiles!

Lupe dog paddles, which may make Sam laugh in the water!

"I know. I can run fast though" He says "I'm more worrieda bout Gerd. Here I can't get away from easy"

Sam tends to not venture out past where her feet still feel solid on the lakebed. But she's tall, so that's a decent distance.

"He's still a kid, compared to you, Jordan. He might not tell them. If you want to rely on that, when it's almost certain to reflect back on you, that's your choice. Look, Gerd's right over there. Great opportunity to bring it up."

He looks over at Gerd, considers "NOPE"

Eulalie rolls her eyes "Chicken"

"Darn straight' Jordan nods

She rolls her eyes, but it's with a wry grin. "Your call." She looks around. "Scuse me!" she says with a smile and heads over to where Zane is (unless he seems to be chatting somebody up).

He is not though he's grining at Sam and Lupe and May

She's grinning, too, as she joins him. "That's a great sight, isn't it?"

"Yeah. Sometimes I worried about them " he says "By the way, can Sam not swim?"

Sylvi looks over and thinks about it. "I've seen her swim, but not a lot."

"Come on, Sam" May smiles "It's not like there's a monster in the lake"
