"No, no, Dirk, it's okay! No attack. I'm okay. Just...surprised."

She looks back to him. "Sorry, who are you?"

She doesn't say 'What are you,' though she's tempted.

"I am the Lordy of the Lake" He asserts "You may call me King Yoel."

Sam looks over at the commotion, brow raised.

Her brow furrows, and then it clicks. "Pooka."

"I'm just perching here" He smiles "Won't fight your friend because I'm Yellow"

"Oh, boy," a good-natured eye-roll as she treads water. She looks back at Dirk and gives him a thumbs-up. "We're good."

Then to the Pooka, she says, "We've got a couple of non-fae at the party here. You're welcome to join, but gotta observe Ignorance, right? And...Yoel?...so I'm guessing Joel?"

"Jes" He nods

Dirk snorts and goes back to get a beer

May leans against Sam a bit "What are they doing?"

A chuckle. "Right. So...I mean...where are you from? I thought I knew all the fae around here?"

"I've got a job at this lake. You want a sword? I distribute them"

"Looks like Sylvi met someone?"

"There's some new folk in the area. Symon has a girlfriend."

"Symon?" May is surprised "Well, good for him I guess. If she's nice"

"Pretty fishy system of government, if you ask me," she counters.

"I am the watery tart you've been warned about" Yoel confesses shamelessly

Then a blink. "Wait...government...are you working with the entourage that arrived at Caer Falken?"

At THAT Yoel says "Never watch the show"

She's not sure how to read that. "Hmmm."

"Oh! Sorry, I'm Sylvi."

"Mm.."

"Nice to bump into you, Sylvi. I can tell you do pilaties. Mind if I join you for some grub? The ones below don't taste that great"

"Sure, join the party. I mean... you don't have to stay in the water, do you?"

"No I am slippery both dry and wet" He assures

"He's cute" Lupe admits.

"Well...welcome," she says. "And thanks for trying to help me." Then she calls out to the group, "Hey, everybody, this is Joel."

Joel waves.

The party in other areas is going well. SOmeone has started up on a play list that most find at least tolerable

Sylvi gets back on shore and (presuming he comes with her) starts introducing Joel around.

Lucia would spot that she's still a little bit cautious about this new arrival, but hiding it diplomatically.

Lucia meets and greets him all friendly like and gives a soft upnod to Sylvi. She'll watch him see how he 'fits'

A nod of gratitude in return.

Joel waves back to Sam/Dagmar

"Okay so... " may says "Sam, Lupe, Do you guys want to hit that old movie theatre and catch a show sometime?"

"Yeah!"

Sylvi introduces him around, but then does take an opportunity to get back in the water. She's missed lake swimming!

And off Sylvi goes, and she has misssed it

May grins "Great. Action movie or romance?"

Shifty eyes. "There's a Barbie movie..."

"My coolness...fading" Lupe pretends to be faint

"It has Simu Liu."

May grins "I'm game... Come on, Lupe"

"FIne fine.." Lupe grins

After a few laps, Sylvi comes back to shore, towel-dries her hair, and then wraps the towel around her waist as she re-mingles with the party.

Gerd joins her "Hey. "

"Hey, Gerd." A smile. "How's it going?"
