And she tells Rikki about her 'score'.

"Okay, I knew teachers were underpaid, I didn't know they were on the market"

"I'm not sure we have the money to pay his salary. Maybe hourly..." She nibbles her lip. "We might need an accountant. One who knows how to massage the books for stuff that isn't normal for a recording studio. They cost money TOO, though."

"Wow. Good thing you've got a level headed trouble avoiding friend like me to help you out in thse leap before you look moments"

She laughs. "I'm glad to have you as a friend, whatever the case."

"Here, it's on me" She pulls out REAL money for the frosties as they pull in for some

She chuckles, but doesn't say no. "Want to swing by the lodge with me? I'll pick Siv up, she stayed overnight."

"She's gonna take away my shot gun" A pout

"I'll ride in the back." Piper rolls her eyes and grins. "I'm used to it, She and Jonas are too long-legged to fit easily."

They pull up to the lodge. They see Yves. The quiet archer is making new arrows

Piper gives him a curious look. "Hey, did you ever look up that cutie from Iowa? Djalis?" She asks Rikki.

"mmm I don't look good in feathers' A grumble

Yves looks up "if you're looking for Siv, she's at Goldfinch"

Then he goes back to whittling

"Aw! Thanks, um. Thanks, Pal!" She waves, and heads back on the road, kicking the car a little faster. "Frostee's gonna melt at this rate."

SLUUURP

VRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOM

And soon they show up at Goldfinch.. freezies not quite melted

"Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiv!" Piper calls, as she locks the car, pushes the door closed with a hoof, and juggles two melty treats.

Siv comes out. She peeks and then says "Piper babe, hey, frosties?"

"Yes! We made it just in time."

She offers Siv her choice of traditional chocolate, or new limited time Strawberry

Siv knows Piper's preference and takes the other "Thank you, you're so sweet"

"Well, I got a lick off each already. Rikki and I went to the flea market. Or is it a roach market now?"

"Roach Mark... what did you two do?" Siv says with a resigned look

"Merely brought misery the company it deserves" sluuurp from Rikki

"Did you get my girrlfriend in trouble?" Siv asks Rikki

"Maybe" Rikki slurps

An impish grin.

Siv looks kind of irked at Rikki, then Piper Slurps and the fiona can't help but let a snort loose "GOod grief. You're both bad"

"So what had you running all over town, and leaving me all alone all night?"

A faux pout.

"Ah," Siv says "Well, I was looking up for intel. Spy stuff"

Rikki nods "So you were spying on the lodge? NEAT. Did you find out who runs the place?"

Siv says "No I was at the lodge to recover from the banality"

Then Siv realizes the pooka got her to blurt and her eyes widen

"I'm fine now" Siv adds

"What??" Piper clips over and steps up onto a chair to hold a hand to Siv's forehead, as though checking for a fever.

Siv is 84.6% okay. WHicch is pretty good, except last time she left Piper she was 99% okay!

One can only imagine how not okay she was before she recharged at Rivervale

"I'm fine" Siv says, and wonders how far you can throw a pooka if you swing her by the tail

Rikki sips "Hardly any undoing at all"

She puts a kiss on Siv's cheek. "I'm glad you're okay, is all. What happened?"

"I ran into an autumn person" She sighs not going to lie "Runs a homeless shelter. Terrible. Told Anne Marie about it"

"Where?"

"A homeless shelter" She says blinking

"Which one?" Piper asks, calmly.

"I kind of worry you're going to go there and try something to avenge me" Siv says "So .. just avoid all homeless shelters in the area for awhile and.. all good?"
