Piper is showering, this is not atypical, she's not some fuzzy dreg of a satyr. Besides, the hot water feels good.

Until it's not.

Abruptly and with no warning, the apartment shower water goes ICE COLD

Piper has well trained vocal chords and lungs, and knows how to project. That said, none of that is intentional when she gets blasted with cold and suddenly SHRIEKS!

"Good morning, " Rikki's voice can be heard from the main appartment

The water is snapped off, and she gropes for a towel.

The bathroom acoustics get a workout with the cussing she has going on.

"So I'm thinking toast" Merrily

"Your ass is gonna be toast when I get out there. What's the big idea?" Griping as she wraps a towel around her soggy curls.

"I was never hugged enough as a child?" Rikki declares as she bustles in thier kitchen "It's 9 AM. Do you know where your snugglebuns are?"

In point of fact, she knows exactly where Jonas is. He's helping Anne Marie. Siv stayed with her folks last night for some reason.

Though Siv didn't say why

"I do." Still sour as she pulls on clothes.

"Alright, out with it. What's the big deal? You seem oddly chipper."

A door is opened, just enough to let sound from other rooms in.... grumbling, grousing, complaints...

looks like EVERYONE who showered got hit with cold water

Piper glares for a moment, then... a muffled snort, and she covers her mouth to hide the giggles.

"The really hard part was alternating timers... five minutes and 3 seconds into every shower once it starts... took days to slip in, arrange each shower head and work it. I paid 9.95 for each and it was worth it" She is probably mixing lies in freely but she does look proud of herself.

"Uh HUH. But now aren't a bunch of angry mobs going to descend on some poor Superintendent?"

"Dad took away the keys to my car, thus we are at war. AND I need a ride" BIG eyes

"You can big-eye at me all you like, but I don't have a car." She reminds Rikki.

"Where do you have to go at this ungodly hour so early?"

"Darn it" She fusses . Perhaps she truly forgot, "Last time I borrowed an 18 wheeler the owner got panties all bunched up"

Then she kind of answers the question "I was hoping to a trip to a flea market, with real fleas"

Piper leans out the window, checking to see if Jonas's boring, safety-test-rated, and horribly practical vehicle is in it's parking spot.

It is sadly gone.

Siv's car, however, is in it's spot.

"Alright. Rikki, please know that I am NOT rewarding your prank, but I would have taken you anyways. Sometimes there's old instruments there, or good dross. Just give me a few minutes to try to get my hair in order and I'll meet you down by the Sivmobile."

She eyes the girl's coif "I'm not sure your hair is the submissive one in your relationship."

"Changing my mind in 5...4....3..."

"Okay Okay..." hands up "I surrender. I didn't know there would be possible CONSEQUENCES for my actions. No one warned me about those"

Piper takes some time to properly leave-in-condition, mousse, and blowdry her curls, then grabs her wallet and the keys from the hook by the door. A quick text to Siv, Taking the Boat for an errand with Rikki. Missed u last nite! 😘

TXT: Boat? The Narwhal is with me...

TXT: That's a SHIP! I was thinking of the 4-wheeler.
Piper giggles.

TXT: Ha. YOu got me. Sure. But DON'T LEAVE RIKKI ALONE WITH IT

TXT: promise! I'll look for a present for you too. Kisses!

Piper gets into the driver's seat, and has to spend a minute pushing the seat WAY up. "Seatbelt, Rikki." She reminds the pooka.

Rikki puts on the seat belt, and peeks in the glove box, Musical and audiobook CDs threaten to tumble out

"No snooping! Wait, is that a sea-shanty compilation? Put 'er in."

She does

Piper doesn't drive often, but she DOES have a license, and remembers to check the rearview and everything before backing out. "Okay, now where are we headed?" As the Wellerman plays.

… Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go...

"The Golden Fleece lays ..." And she gives the address

She signals, pulls out onto the road, and is on the way! Singing along, of course.

The Flea market is one of those temporary things, a building rented out and cluttered with various vendors of various goods. There's a five dollar cover fee. Rikki lays down a monopoloy one dollar bill and the lady blinks as the cantrip works, ahnd lets them him giving them chits to show they paid. They return the chits later

"Huh." Piper is amused, she wasn't actually sure there was a flea market at all, but was up for anything at Rikki's direction. "Shopping for anything specific?"

"I owe Siv a souvenir now, by the way."

"I did a three way and all I got was this lousy T shirt?" Rikki inquires with amusement, not answering the first question but moving along.. to the side, Piper sees musical instruments laid out around a black man of middle aged years

"Ooooh..." She drifts that direction.

Rikki smirks "Moth, flame. Flame, Moth"

"I love lamp!" She says with a laugh.

The man looks up and rallies a smile for Piper "Morning"
