"Are chimera born in the dreaming? Or do they pop out of dreamers heads? Is it the same thing?"

"She was." Frank confirms "I'm not 100% sure but I believe the chimera-Nabuni was a part of the house they moved into. The Thomases."

"Some chimera are, yes, Connor. And Dreamers can create them, too."

Jaymes ponders "The girl is too pretty to be safe on the streets. Not that unpretty helps too much" Concern

"I know." Frank says "She's had run-ins already, but she's not interested in a shelter or half-way home."

"Why?" Connor asks, confused by the phrasing.

"Will other girls get jealous?"

Jaymes puts a hand on Connor "When you're older I'll tell you . Let's just say sometimes folks are very unkind and see people as objects. "

"Then why did you let her go? If it's not safe?"

"A good question, Connor. I'm going to follow her, just make sure she gets back safely." Frank heads out after her.

A look up to Jaymes, and out the door after Frank.

Jaymes looks at the now empty store "i'll just stay here, shall I?"

"Connor, I think Jaymes needs your help, doesn't he?"

He looks back and forth from Troll to Troll.

Jaymes says "Could use sorting in the candy section"

Frank nods to Jaymes, and heads after Bunni.

Connor SIGHS, but he does like the candy. It's awfully colorful, and the next best thing to eating it is redecorating the layout. How many snickers can be stacked in a row?

While Connor helps... Frank moves after the direction he thinks the girl went and.. hearing soft footsteps he makes his way towards the soun dand finds her passing between two buildings

Once she's safely in the factory, he'll call first Brekke (and leave a message) and then Anne Marie.

Anne Marie picks up "Frank, that your number?"

"What can I do for you?" Sound of paper shuffling

"I've got a young lady that needs some help. A safe place to stay, really. I know it's tight everywhere but...."

"Oh frank, I'm afraid it is tight. That jackass in Texas decided to send immigrants and homeless to 'liberal' areas. Mostly New york City but have have sme back flow and I am... "A breath "I'm sorry, very frustrated. Tell me about this girl"

"She seems to be suffering from amnesia. It's not total; she knows her name and a good bit about ow the world works but she's definitely has some holes in her memory.

"Oh thats dangerous. I wonder if she'd let me run a fingerprint scan? "

"An interesting question."

"Well, Frank. I have ten people in need of shelter. Can you tell me why I Should put her at top of the list?"

"She's holed up in an abandoned building for the moment." a pause on his end of the phone "I feel I
owe her a debt."

"How so?"

Frank sighs. "I failed to help someone who needed it. Now this girl is here, she can't remember details of life up until about a month ago. She's got no one. I feel a debt."

"I see" A pause "Is she amendible to help? Sometimes they fight it"

"She doesn't want to go to a shellter but she let me start a tab for her with Jaymes."

"Good sign. All right I have someone I can call who might have a spare room"

"Last time I took in someone here, both my sons got hurt about it" A sigh

"You have a good heart, Anne Marie."

"Well, yes, but what i need are about five more arms and 6 more legs, but thank you. It'll take me an hour or two double check the options for you , Frank"

"Mm. Thank you, Anne Marie."

"You're welcome, Frank and... don't worry, we'll find a way we can all help her"

Frank acknowledges this, hangs up after the pleasantries, and glances again at the factory; all looks right?
