Another day at school for Dagmar (And others)

"I just feel so silly" May admits to Lupe and Sam "Yesterday I was feeling paranoid, like someonne watching me. Today? Nothing. Am I a flake?"

"You're OUR flake" Lupe says firmly

Sam grunts. "It just means it's taken care of."

"Yeah but how? Who ? " May starts to wonder "Do I have a prince chaming meets batman guarding me I don't know of? SO romantic right?"

Already her imaginationn sends shadows , not of a nnightmare, but of silhouttes of protectors

Lupe however, glances over at Sam at that, and gives a nod. The Garou forgets a lot of this fae stuff, but she knows both Sam and she have to protect May in a world much darker than she expects

A soft grin. "Yeah, you might have a guardian angel or two."

Lupe smirks

"I'm good with that" May says as they enter Gym and get their outfits on

There's less sniping and bullshit at Senior level. Most of the girls in THIS Class have grown the fuck up. Sure, competitive smack happens, but that's about game play, no bullshit aboutt thunder thighs or flat asses

THIS class is also grateful for any time spent in person - whispers of shutting down again have them determined to take what they can get.

Here here.. for those who enjoy athletics, the lock downs and 'stay ins' have sucked extra hard.

Soon they're out, and playing basketball, no official game, but passing it around

The trio are the only ones in class from the team, and pass the ball between them with ease and familiarity.

Indeed, the non athletes are outclassed when it comes to raw skill... though the Cheerleaders (Who might declare they are athletes of a diffeent kind) make a go of it

They are athletes of a different kind.

Cheerleaders are athletes, and everybody better know better than to suggest otherwise where Sylvi can hear!

However, she can't sink a basket reliably.

And her dribbling is...well....

Lupe calls out "Tempo, Sylvia... it's about tempo"

"Rhythm, Sylvi!"

"Gimme some music, then!"

"Like a heartbeat. Ta-dum-ta-dum!"

"I think my basketball has a heart murmur...."

May says "Oh, I don't beat box. Lupe made me sign a waiver not to try" Humor

Nearby, the female gym teacher talks to some other woman

She gets closer to them and passes to Dagmar. A glance over to where the gym teacher and the woman are talking, and she says, "Sam! Show me how to sink a three-pointer!"

"Huh? Sure!"

She holds up her hands to catch the ball before smoothly heading into a dribble.

At the line, she sets up and tosses. Swish.

The woman with the coach looks up at that

"See, you gotta.... lift and tip. Ain't like shotput, which is more.. hm.. heave? Basketballs, you need to throw soft."

Applause and a whoop from the cheerleader!

"Let me try..." And Sylvi does.

She's not particularly successful.

"Lupe, toss that back here?"

Amused look from the woma inn the scarf

LUpe catches it, and passees it Smoothly to Sam

"Sylvi, you hold it, let me... like.. your elbow is doing a thing."

"A thing ?"

She stands awkwardly as Sam adjusts her stance.

"Like this?"

Another try, and the ball bounces back off the rim.

She shakes her head. "Show me again?" passing the ball back to Dagmar.

Lupe raises a brow.

"Yeah, do you feel your elbow kicking out?"

"Kinda...?"

Sam gently adjusts Sylvi's arms, and keeps a hand on the tricky elbow. "Now shoot."
