Patroling for vampires (None found) was a lot less stressful than dwelling on a scout at school.

Yet here Sam is again, another Day. But she has a new duty, as does Gerd.

"I'm a Freshman, Sam's a Senior, between the two of us you should be able to find one of us if you need us" Gerd assure Alisa

"It helps that we're tall."

"My debt to you both accrues" Alisa says eying her schedule

'Tall' seems an understatement - both trolls stand over seven ft to fae eyes - and Sam isn't that far off mortally.

With this being a new Semester for her, this is her first school day

Alisa is average sized, and athletic for a coma patient. The two girls near her make her look quite petite height wise

"I don't know who Alisa's friends are - try to trust your memories there, okay?"

"Just, like, smile and say hey and ask about break and what gifts they got."

"Small talk" Alisa nods "good advice"

"We can stalk them on social media later and figure shit out. Romana knows everyone."

"Lucia too, part of their..knack"

"She's... uh, yea tall. Lucia too, with.. uh.." She makes a kind of wing-flappy gesture with her hands.

"Symon knows everyone, but he can be shy. Don't take it personal."

"Sylvi you met, she'll look out for you, too. Dirk..." A sigh. "Dirk is a jerk, but he's one of us."

Alisa looks at her schedule again "I won't... do you guys know these instructors? Are they..decent?"

"Oh, thank god. You have French."

"If you get spooked, or overwhelmed, or cold, go there."

"If anywhere feels weirdly cold, try to avoid it until one of us can check it out?"

"I will..." She says "Oh yes, Sir.. uhm Mr. gardener teaches French doesnn'tt he?"

"Coach Gray is great. Miss Gutierrez is fine. Mr. Polchick is low-key an asshole, so just.. keep your head down, right?"

"Ugh" Gerd makes a face at Polchick's mention "I don't think he even likes young people"

"How about Mrs Havensack?" Alisa inquires

"Oh she's English... she's cool" A nod from Gerd "Was first semeester anyway"

"He doesn't like anyone, yeah. Havensack cares. Like, a lot. She'll want you to, like, talk."

"I guess she's cool."

"Well, " Alisa smiles with humor "Few of my kind don't enjoy the sound of our own voice"

Her mouth tugs to the side in a half-smile.

Gerd snerks

"Good attitude. You'll be fine."

"Thank you both, I'll remember what you said. May I .. join you at lunch? I.. seem to recall a hierchy?"

"Uh.. if you get stuck, you can blame stuff on COvid brain fog. It IS a thing, you were in a coma."

"Deception feels so... tawdry" She sighs "even wrong"

"Tell me about it."

"Needful" Gerd corrects "Sam's right. Gotta protect the right of ignorance"

Then again - Alisa met Dagmar in a blaze of armor, green, and gold.

She does not wear her armor at school, though her voile still leans to Gwydion colors.

Alisa's colors remain a bit jumbled. She likes gemtones but which gemtone dominnates varies

"It's not even a lie, really. You are forgetting stuff because Alisa got sick."

THAT cheers Alisa "True. Thank you. " She then looks over "So about Lunch?"

"Gerd, what lunch period does she have?"

"Sam is with the jocks" Gerd teases thenn checks

"Am not! It's May and Lupe!"

"Doesn't matter, she's on second lunh period" Gerd rrealizes 'Hope you brought a snack, Alisa"

"Any of us have Second?"

"I have a granola bar" Alisa says

"I got second" Gerd says "If it doesn' lose her cool points hanginngg with a freshman"
